Everyone just listen. Character development can be either becoming a better person or much worse. Chloe only became Queen Bee just to show her idol Ladybug that she's better person, not to herself or the people around her. She needs to learn that she has to want to be good for her own being
OMG thank you!! I’m sick of these people bitching about “Chloe never got redeemed T-T”! They’re confusing character depth with character development. We got reasons for why Chloe is the way she is- however that doesn’t justify all of the horrible things that she’s done as a result. I still believe that she can change- we’ve seen that she’s more than capable of doing so. She needs to grow up and realise that she can’t always get what she wants- that was the whole point of Miracle Queen. She didn’t get her Miraculous, so she decided to throw a fit and jeopardise the safety of everyone else for her own selfish needs. TL;DR: Chloe needs to wise the fuck up and realise that in order to get people to like her (what she wants deep down), she needs to accept her own faults and that life can’t always give her what she wants. She needs to accept that and move on.

That is what they mean. She did change and improve a bit when she was given the bee miraculous. In that period of time, she didn't really akumatize anyone on purpose. Her being given the miraculous was her "baby steps" to redemption,and she wasn't fully at fault for what happened in the finale. Remember, she only betrayed Ladybug because she chose Kagami due to her having a date with Adrien and wanted to prevent her from kissing Adrien. Ladybug was also partly at fault, yet the show makes it to be Chloe's fault fully. if you are expecting a redemption from Chloe in season 4, that ain't happening...Thomas states that she is irredeemable and talks like she is even worse than Lila in his tweets. TLDR: Chloe receiving the bee miraculous was the start of her redemption arc, and her development to becoming a better person was destroyed. lastly, Chloe's redemption ain't happening due to Thomas stating he hates her.

The thing about Chloe is that she was obviously set up for a redemption arc but Astruc _HATES_ Chloe and shut it down, causing the relapse in the season 3 finale. Before that, we were starting to see a nicer, better Chloe. No, a bad childhood doesn't justify bad behavior but it explains it (duh). And once people around the character understand the explanation behind a character's behavior, they can start helping them to better themselves or the character themselves will start to understand that they can't let their past affect them because it's not good for them, not is it good for the people around them. That's what was happening with Chloe.
Clearly, the show likes to throw her into a box of inability, of flat "blondie who's mean because shes got money" character troupe. But this clearly shows theres so much more to Queen Bee, and why shes my favorite even though she struggles and walks the line of overzealous and confidence

sick and tired of being sidelined, Queen Bee betrays Ladybug, she steals the Butterfly Miraculous from Hawkmoth and combines its power with the Bee Miraculous, transforming in to Monarch, ruler of the akumas and the miraculous
I’m probably gonna be massacred for this, but I think Chloe makes a surprisingly competent supervillain. I mean, we’ve seen that she has no problem with manipulating other people and twisting them to do what she wants, and she can actually be pretty crafty when she wants to be. Plus, outside of Miracle Queen, her two previous villain forms were actually formidable opponents. MQ was kind of a letdown, but she was still a good villain.
None of the events of the season 3 finale would have happend if they let Chloe be Queen Bee more and Hawkmoth had plenty of opportunities to target Chloe but he doesn't and they could have used him knowing her identity as an advantage rather than just shifting her to the side.
If Marinette had just given her the bee miraculous during lovey or none of this would be going on she should have just gave Chloe the bee miraculous and all of this would have been flying but nope she just had to ruin their Redemption but I'm still a little going to watch the show I'm a little scared what's going to happen to Chloe is everybody going to start hating her even more than before and is Sabrina going to abandon her when she needs her the most probably serves her right only slightly I'm just saying slightly
Would it? I mean, think about it. It was way too dangerous for Queen Bee to help, because as we saw in Heroes’ Day Chloe doesn’t really bode well in a fight against both her parents. Plus, Hawk Moth was trying to get her on his side. If LB called her in, it was just as simple as capturing her and then convincing her to side with him. He knows her real identity: why else do you think he targeted her parents? Plus, knowing Chloe, she would’ve charged ahead and try to fight on her own to save her parents rather than be patient and hear LBs plan. Really, if Bee was called in it would’ve practically been a suicide mission for her. With Ryuko, Ladybug actually had a plan. We could see that. She had to go with her instinct: so she chose Kagami. And it was working, wasn’t it? Hearthunter couldn’t even land a hit on Ryuko, and had Chloe not sided with HM they probably would’ve beaten Hearthunter too. But I respect your opinion. If that’s what you believe, that’s fine. I’m totally okay with that. I just wanted to voice my own opinion. Plus, now that Chloe has officially hit rock bottom, she can try to build herself up again.
@@Cheetahgirl_Studios In Chloe's defense, if she was chosen again to be Queen Bee she would have refused Hawkmoth's deal (she has refused him before, and is the only known person...for now to fight back and not get akumatized.) remember what Hawkmoth said/did, he had to rephrase his deal to make it seem enticing to Chloe and it took a while to convince her even after she was heartbroken by Ladybug's choice. And in almost all of the akuma attacks that were personal, choosing the miraculous holder that is close towards the akumatized villain always works out. Since when has Queen Bee charged in battle after Ladybug established her as a part of the team? During the catalyst episodes she didn't even charge into battle at all and was discussing their battle plan.
Yeah, Marinette had to have noticed Chloe trying to become a better person and just ignored Chloe. That was not okay. Master Fu always told Marinette to pick the right people and Chloe was the right person. Before the finale, Chloe was Ladybug's most valuable weapon against Hawkmoth. She was the only one who could resist the akumas and Ladybug just threw her away. Whoever the next Queen Bee is is already guaranteed to not have that ability because we were specifically shown that only Chloe can really do this. Astruc really fucked up on that one.

This animatic is great, though technically Chloe is being pretty hypocritical. In the part where she says “there’s a line between the chosen and the rest” and she shows the rest of the class as the chosen and her and Sabrina as the rest, when Chloe’s the one who’s constantly acting like she’s the chosen and rest of the class is the rest, she’s the one who’s been bullying everyone and belittling them. If she just stopped bullying them and was nice, they’d probably be her friends. She acts like she’s gone through so much as the bully, but she’s ignoring all she’s done to her victims and acting like a victim herself. Yes, her mother is horrible and in that part she’s the victim, but that doesn’t mean she gets to bully everyone else and pass on the pain to people who haven’t done anything to her. Also Chloe is the one who expects more than everyone else, all the new heroes, not just her, have to give their Miraculous back to Ladybug. It’s not like Ladybug is singling her out or anything, Chloe just expects to be treated as special and better than anyone else. Ladybug IS singling her out by giving a Miraculous to Rena Rouge and Carapace and not her and I can understand why Chloe felt hurt by that, however Ladybug had her reasons, and she explained the reasons to Chloe in Miraculer. It was for Chloe’s own safety, and if Rena Rouge or Carapace’s identity were exposed she would have done the same thing. This is just my opinion, feel free to disagree. I love the animatic though.

I have some suggestions that you can do in the future: (1) Galavant’s “Serenade” with Batman and Cat-Woman as the couple and The Joker as Galavant (2) Beetlejuice’s “What I Know Now” (3) Addams Family’s “Crazier Than You” with Harley Quinn and a man who becomes Joker (4) Danny Phantom’s Ember’s “Remember” Just to name a few. I mean chole did some horrible things, but I kinda feel bad for her. She had struggled her whole life, her. Mother never show any love or affection towards her basically isolating her and her father isn't acting like the dad hes suppose to be and let's her get her way, she's never had Marinette verison of a true family whihc contributed to her rude and mean nature and her crush rejects her and deep down she wara to be a hero like ladybug, to only then beong rejected by the very person she admired to be like, and she was willing to change her ways to be a hero like ladybug. To me Chloe didn't go under enough of a character redemption or character growth period. It's looks like they were trying but bail on it, Chloe was the final akuma villain in 2 season already and again in season 3. But I glad that she's not going to be the bee holder going forward, I want to say she just wasn't ready but......... She just doesn't have the mentality of a hero, and she continuously proves that she should not have gotten the miraculous. Now I'm not bashing Chloe or anything cause I do like Chloe from her design to Queen bee and I waited so long for Queen bees appearance somthing fierce. I'm just Disappointed that Chloe couldn't be a perminent part of the team. I think all this would of change if she just hadn't outed herself in front of everybody what camera's being present.
During the final battle against Hawkmoth, Queen Bee is the one who takes him down, but instead of giving the Butterfly Miraculous to Ladybug, she decides to keep it for herself Cat Noir tries to stop her, but Queen Bee turns on him and stuns him with Venom Ladybug pulls herself up and goes after her

This has to stop now, this thing where you think that you've been my friend, but you don't even hear how you condescend, the way you've always done! Ladybug : Chloe, listen! Queen Bee : I'm listening! Ladybug : I know it isn't true! Queen Bee : Isn't it? Ladybug : Just look in to my eyes! Queen Bee : Well! Ladybug : I know you feel it, too! Queen Bee : Perhaps I do. Ladybug : Chloe, listen! Queen Bee : I'm listening! Ladybug : I swear it's not too late, so before another line is crossed and every thing we have is lost, just wait! Queen Bee : Wait?! No! Queen Bee catches herself before she hits the ground and monologues on how unfair life was to her and how she has always lived in Ladybug's shadow. Titania : I'm crossing the line, I'm done holding back, look out, clear the tracks, it's my turn, I'm taking what's mine, every drop every smidge, if I'm burning a bridge, let it burn, but I'm crossing the line!
Ladybug looks on in horror as Titania's akuma turns Gabriel back in to Scarlet Moth and Natalie turns in to Catalyst again. Scarlet Moth, under Titania's command, brainwashes the other Miraculous wielders against Ladybug. Titania : And for us, since we're over, that's fine! She stomps on the bee signal and destroys it. Ladybug : Chloe, wait! Titania : I'm crossing the line! She snaps her fingers, ordering the mind controlled heroes to attack Ladybug.
They could've made Villain Chloe cool... i would've loved chloe either as a Hero, or like a villain who got sick of Ladybug's shit.. but then the show had to do the worst option total and make her a pathetic, flanderized character with no purpose in the story anymore.. sad

Yeah, Marinette had to have noticed Chloe trying to become a better person and just ignored Chloe. That was not okay. Master Fu always told Marinette to pick the right people and Chloe was the right person. Before the finale, Chloe was Ladybug's most valuable weapon against Hawkmoth. She was the only one who could resist the akumas and Ladybug just threw her away. Whoever the next Queen Bee is is already guaranteed to not have that ability because we were specifically shown that only Chloe can really do this. Astruc really fucked up on that one.
@@47ratsinahoodieIn Marinette’s defense….Chloé bullied her for years. And the time’s she was showing signs of change were brief and she immediately went back to acting like usual self. Plus, pretty sure Marinette shouldn’t have given Chloé back to miraculous because of that whole train incident.

This animatic is great, though technically Chloe is being pretty hypocritical. In the part where she says “there’s a line between the chosen and the rest” and she shows the rest of the class as the chosen and her and Sabrina as the rest, when Chloe’s the one who’s constantly acting like she’s the chosen and rest of the class is the rest, she’s the one who’s been bullying everyone and belittling them. If she just stopped bullying them and was nice, they’d probably be her friends. She acts like she’s gone through so much as the bully, but she’s ignoring all she’s done to her victims and acting like a victim herself. Yes, her mother is horrible and in that part she’s the victim, but that doesn’t mean she gets to bully everyone else and pass on the pain to people who haven’t done anything to her. Also Chloe is the one who expects more than everyone else, all the new heroes, not just her, have to give their Miraculous back to Ladybug. It’s not like Ladybug is singling her out or anything, Chloe just expects to be treated as special and better than anyone else. Ladybug IS singling her out by giving a Miraculous to Rena Rouge and Carapace and not her and I can understand why Chloe felt hurt by that, however Ladybug had her reasons, and she explained the reasons to Chloe in Miraculer. It was for Chloe’s own safety, and if Rena Rouge or Carapace’s identity were exposed she would have done the same thing. This is just my opinion, feel free to disagree. I love the animatic though.

I mean chole did some horrible things, but I kinda feel bad for her. She had struggled her whole life, her. Mother never show any love or affection towards her basically isolating her and her father isn't acting like the dad hes suppose to be and let's her get her way, she's never had Marinette verison of a true family whihc contributed to her rude and mean nature and her crush rejects her and deep down she wara to be a hero like ladybug, to only then beong rejected by the very person she admired to be like, and she was willing to change her ways to be a hero like ladybug. I feel like marinette let her feelings clouded her judgement

To me Chloe didn't go under enough of a character redemption or character growth period. It's looks like they were trying but bail on it, Chloe was the final akuma villain in 2 season already and again in season 3.
But I glad that she's not going to be the bee holder going forward, I want to say she just wasn't ready but......... She just doesn't have the mentality of a hero, and she continuously proves that she should not have gotten the miraculous.
Now I'm not bashing Chloe or anything cause I do like Chloe from her design to Queen bee and I waited so long for Queen bees appearance somthing fierce.
I'm just Disappointed that Chloe couldn't be a perminent part of the team. I think all this would of change if she just hadn't outed herself in front of everybody what camera's being present.

Cat Noir tries to stop her, but Queen Bee turns on him and stuns him with Venom
Ladybug pulls herself up and goes after her
Ladybug : Chloe, wait! This has to stop now what ever it is that you're going through, we'll fix it together, me and you, just like we've always done!
Queen Bee : No! This has to stop now, this thing where you think that you've been my friend, but you don't even hear how you condescend, the way you've always done!
Ladybug : Chloe, listen!
Queen Bee : I'm listening!
Ladybug : I know it isn't true!
Queen Bee : Isn't it?
Ladybug : Just look in to my eyes!
Queen Bee : Well!
Ladybug : I know you feel it, too!
Queen Bee : Perhaps I do.
Ladybug : Chloe, listen!
Queen Bee : I'm listening!
Ladybug : I swear it's not too late, so before another line is crossed and every thing we have is lost, just wait!

Queen Bee then jumps off the roof, leaving Ladybug to mourn her failure to get through to Chloe. Queen Bee catches herself before she hits the ground and monologues on how unfair life was to her and how she has always lived in Ladybug's shadow.
Queen Bee : There's a line between the winners and the losers, a line between the chosen and the rest, and I've done the best I could, but I've always known just where we stood, me here with the luckless, you there with the blessed, and that line between the beggers and the choosers, is a line you've never let me quite ignore, how I've tried to jump that great divide, but I never got the chances you were given, you don't know how much I've been denied, but I'm not being patient any more!
She merges the Butterfly and Bee Miraculous and transforms in to the tyrannical Titania, Queen of all Miraculous.
Titania : I'm crossing the line, I'm done holding back, look out, clear the tracks, it's my turn, I'm taking what's mine, every drop every smidge, if I'm burning a bridge, let it burn, but I'm crossing the line!
Ladybug looks on in horror as Titania's akuma turns Gabriel back in to Scarlet Moth and Natalie turns in to Catalyst again. Scarlet Moth, under Titania's command, brainwashes the other Miraculous wielders against Ladybug.
Titania : And for us, since we're over, that's fine!
She stomps on the bee signal and destroys it.
Ladybug : Chloe, wait!
Titania : I'm crossing the line!
She snaps her fingers, ordering the mind controlled heroes to attack Ladybug.

They could've made Villain Chloe cool... i would've loved chloe either as a Hero, or like a villain who got sick of Ladybug's shit.. but then the show had to do the worst option total and make her a pathetic, flanderized character with no purpose in the story anymore.. sad
