He is one of the very few who can be considered more than players. He's an artist whose understanding of the game and passing skills are the best promotion for basketball. He's got a unique style, always looking like he just woke up, unshaved and tousled, nonchalant attitude. I play basketball for 30 years now and can see that Milos is right up there in terms of talent with names like Jokic & Doncic. If these 3 would ever play together they would break any team record out there. Great video, thanks!
Well, you forgot to say that after the Clippers, he went to Virtus Bologna (the italian team where Ginobili played and won the Euroleague before moving to Spurs) to lead the team to a National championship in 2021 , a Eurocup in 2022 that meant the Virtus comeback in Euroleague. Both times winning the mvp. God bless Milos.
Crazy I was watching his highlights a couple of hours ago and you guys made a video about him. Been saying this for years. And it's not only passing but his court organization/vision, his quick-release jump shot, his insane IQ, and big clutch shots. Just a joy to watch. What is Ronaldinho for football Milos is for basketball. An artist, pure talent. Only if he had a better work ethic we would be now talking about the top 5 ever playmaker that touched the ball.
In Serbia is not a secret that Teo is smoking and drinking during his whole career. With proper work ethics and healthy lifestyle, he would be top 3 Europeans in history
average Joe, just a bit taller, just how Austin Reaves is idol to kids in US that's what Teodosic was and still is for more than a decade to kids in Serbia, you can't be Jokic, he is so tall it would be strange is he didn't play in the NBA(statistically 53 or 54% of guys that tall play or have played in the NBA, higher chance to play in NBA than not when you are that tall)
I don't know why people think soccer is more complicated than basketball. It definitely looks more interesting with people dribbling with their feet. However, basketball is a vertical game and soccer takes place mostly on the ground. That's a much more 'dimensional' game, and using your arms to dribble allows for more fluid movement. I respect soccer, but high level basketball is something else.
Ι can say, as a PAO fan, he is probably the best/fanciest passer ever. One of your first clips is from a friendly game in OAKA, the pass was so good it was the first and last time PAO fans cheered for Milos!
Yugoslavian basketball school was very strong back in the day. That is why even today we have intelligent players from Serbia, Slovenia, Bosnia, Montenegro despite the small size of that countries
Thats ridiculous, Teodosić is a good passer and a flashy passer but def not in the conversation as one of the greats. I would say hes closer to Ricky Rubio level of passing
I'm not a 2K player.. All I know the games are super close to reality now but I'm pretty sure you still can't make some of the shit Teodosic does in games haha
It's not possible to compare Teodosic with any other basketball player. His basketball interpretation is completely artistic. I propose the following sport's nickname for him: Basketball Michelangelo .
So lucky to had Milos in my city team for some seasons. Legend Very strong and competitive but also artistic, not just doing cool things for the sake of it but for win the games
When I was a kid in the 80s, on the streets of Belgrade, what ever sport you play, football or basketball, we all wanted to become those type of players and personalities...
