He is one of the very few who can be considered more than players. He's an artist whose understanding of the game and passing skills are the best promotion for basketball. He's got a unique style, always looking like he just woke up, unshaved and tousled, nonchalant attitude. He could have been a damned artist, a prodigy in whatever art, and we are lucky he chose basketball. He deserve a standing ovation in every gym eventhough he would feel uncomfortable with it

I don't know why people think soccer is more complicated than basketball. It definitely looks more interesting with people dribbling with their feet. However, basketball is a vertical game and soccer takes place mostly on the ground. That's a much more 'dimensional' game, and using your arms to dribble allows for more fluid movement. I respect soccer, but high level basketball is something else.

When I was a kid in the 80s, on the streets of Belgrade, what ever sport you play, football or basketball, we all wanted to become those type of players and personalities... With balls to the floor, high IQ as it is called now, nonchalant, cool guys. Something like a James Bonds of the sports.. Some of us was good, some even better, but few of them became professional players because professional sport asks for other things now, work, discipline and more work and work
. Kids with such a great talent, usually don't fit in those drills. How Teo managed to keep his ingenuity at the same time, I don't know ❤

It is incredible that he is not playing in the NBA, although it is not surprising since the current NBA game is boring, where the players are more concerned about crying to the referee so that they are called for a foul.
Now speaking of Milos, before the ball reaches him, he is already seeing the different passing possibilities and when it arrives he quickly executes any option, even pretending to go for a basket but ends up taking a step that confuses his rivals 👏

I saw Milos play in person back in 2017 and he literally went 4/4 from three and dropped 3 sick dimes all in the first quarter. He reminded me a lot of Steve Nash.

Nash always played on NBA courts, as well as Jason Williams (who was even more entertaining).
But showing these creative passing skills on European courts is "a bit" different... 😏😉

One of the greatest player ti ever touch the ball I used to train with him 20 years ago, he is the laziest guy at the gym but his mind and basketball iq is not from this world. He is 1987 I’m 88 they used to train after our group in zeleznik, they e stayed many days to watch their training, and also there is another guy his name is Nemanja Aleksandrov, the biggest European prospect who was not lucky enough to make it because of the injuries… those two was playing like Jordan and Hakeem together, amazing times

He kept that street basketball spirit throughout his career. What differs it from professional basketball, it's played for fun as much as for the win. It has been played between a beer and cigarette. It was a hobby, not a job.

Watching this great video made me think : did the Mavs actually try to replicate the De Colo - Teodisic chemistry when they signed Kyrie ? Luka's passing style is really close to Milos (with much more offensive tools) and Kyrie is very good on off ball while still being a magician with the ball.
