If it were a little but smaller, thinner and if it didn't have that day date complication, we'd definitely start talking!

Great watch! The entire build feels way above this price point. I had a green dial in on my channel, but I really like this gray version you have. I thought this strap was really comfortable and fit the overall vibe. Good stuff!
Absolutely! I often think the more solid feeling watches at this sort of price, crucially, don’t come on a bracelet. 🤙🏻 Otherwise, it can be a bit of a different experience, shall we say, not to mention the fact they’ve spent a whole chunk of the budget on the bracelet and the rest has suffered… 😅

I've got the more colorful version, the am-339m. The 2 o'clock crown is screwdown on the 339, and that was the deciding factor for me, and I got it for 107 off their website directly. Its got the 8215, no day complication, just date. The date is matched colorwise to the dial, so instead of a white background with black text, it's a black background with white text (I have the black dial). The lume is incredible... The indicies and the majority on the bezel are visible in dark after several hours... Unfortunately the orange on the second, minute hands and the 15 minute bezel markings is done for well before that, and my hour hand wasn't visible either.. so I could see the markings, but not the hands (not exactly useful at that point, even if it is pretty lol). 8215 vs. the 8205 movement, with all it's warts. Standard miyota second hand stutter. Otherwise same specs. IF I'm being really picky, the 2 o'clock stem isn't as flush as the 4 o'clock stem when screwed down, but you can only tell if you're looking at the back of the watch. I agree, it wears thicker than it's specs. I feel the band is a bit excessive in length, BUT, I'm wearing it next to skin.. if I was in a wet suit, I might need that extra length, so it's nice to see they took that into consideration. I think this is going to be goto watch for daily wear, and I do like the quality of their builds. This is my second Berny, with the other being a full face lumed railway on a leather strap.

I have two Bernys. My favorite watches. A compressor and a Ti/Sapphire dress watch. Great. The rubber strap is useless though because the loops are too big. I got mine caught in my coat sleeve, the watch fell off and hit the ground. Dented the case. Got a decent nylong strap and all is good.
ive the older compresssor version that says FIRST TIME on the dial n the day date is not brilliant at all but the watch is very good indeed sapphire etc ...now for me no day date would be awesome .... great review
Agree with the opinions on deleting the date window and adding more text above 6. I also think they should shrink "berny" down a bit...it is disproportionately too big. Great review!

The name is what it is, anybody want to guess what Rolex stands for? That's right, not a damned thing, it was contrived simply to sound exclusive.

Someone else mentioned a GMT version with the NH34, which would be very tasty indeed. And isn't Rolex just meant to be pronouncable to anyone regardless of their native language? That's the story I heard, anyways.

I've got this watch and it's great, however with 7 1/2" wrists the strap only just fits me - I'm literally on the 2nd last hole which isn't ideal.
