Taste of Trini RIA, Your pholourie, aloo pie and tamarind chutney are all fantastic. Kudos to you!! My husband always say my aloo pies are better than what sells on the side of the road. RIA with what I have learnt from you, I feel like I have been brought up in a traditional indian home when it comes to my aloo pie and pholourie. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Best Regards Karen A.🥰🥰❤🥳🥳
I searched so many other tambran recipes to find they were using the paste.. Finally... I found yours, and you show the recipe from scratch... thanks about to try it out now! :)
+Nikki Nicole Glad you found it! Hope it comes out great! I forgot to mention, you can also add 1 tsp of Amchar/Black Masala when it's done cooking. Thanks for watching :)
Thank you for sharing these videos. I love that you share a bit about the culture. My parents are from T&T and I missed out learning these things being in the USA. Keep the videos coming!
Great !!! Can't get Tamarind here where I am but I use English brambly apples to make something similar. Quite a tart apple for cooking, baking & chutneys. ... cooks down easily. Tons of scotch bonnets, crushed garlic, usual spices and oil - no added water .... but I am sure I can't teach an old dog new or any tricks... you have seen it, done it etc etc!! It's all about you and your channel with lovely recipes... so I'll stop here and say thanks again :-) ... good night
Like, love tryout videos, will try to make the bars for doubles. My daughter loves doubles. Maybe then I will eat it.Also, thanks so much for your pholouri recipe. Love philistinism, but when I go home, I haven't found a vendor who makes real pholouri. Seems to me it's just flour and saffron, tearless. Your recipe seems authentic. Keep it moving. Great videos and explanation
Hi i can't get Tambran here in the Uk. I can get Tambran paste and as a block. Do you think i could use the block? Have you any idea how much i should use?

Hi Taste of Trini. Delicious as usual. I must have mentioned this before. When are you going to introduce the Trini classic: The Chow? Mango/pineapple/carambola (five finger)/sour cherry/pomme cythere ( is it available over there?) In fact any sour fruit you can find over there, for instance: apple. It will make for a fantastic hors d'oeuvre. This is classic Trini. It will definitely open appetites. Control the Heat!
Hi. You are so sweet and reminds me of my daughter. Your recipes are very helpful. Can I just advised one thing. I guess it's because am a bit impatient, I would like for you to get to the recipe quickly and maybe a shorter introduction and summary. Otherwise keep up the good work beautiful girl.
