Many thanks for this lovely video abouth the cleaning and what you need to do. For me it's clear that I do not want to dismantle the camera that far just to have a clear viewfinder. I had already cleaned some parts and bought a bnwfilm this afternoon so i will load the film in the camera and start shooting tomorrow.

Does the condition of the pentaprism affect the final picture?

Contamination on the pentaprism will not affect the final image.
The problem is that dirt on the pentaprism gets into the view from the viewfinder.

I can’t get the winding lever off. I have the right tool but I’m stripping those two little holes... do you have any tips? Mine seems to be stuck on super tight. (The part at 0:37 seconds)

I haven't disassembled the OM-1n yet, so
I don't know, but I don't think there is a big difference.

Hello - the process is almost exactly the same. The only differences are that the underneath of the power switch is different, so you need to be careful that it is correctly aligned when you put the top cover back on otherwise you might damage the part underneath. There's also a slightly different washer on the hotshoe screw, as well as an extra little plastic part (which looks like a pair of nostrils.) Just be careful when you disassemble your OM-1n and remember where these parts go.

is 70% isopropyl alcohol okay to use when cleaning?
I haven't tried it, so I'm not sure.
