My oh my! I was really at wits end. I spent so much time troubleshooting why the first can pulled R134a but the second can just seemed like it stalled. All my effort led to dead ends. Hours spent. And your efforts is what made the difference. Just like you shared, my old can was a piercing type and the new can had a self sealing valve. The effort you took to post this video, for the simple sake of being helpful, really, truly, helped me. Thank you. I greatly appreciate you and your efforts!
Brother your info just saved me a whole lot of money I had two hoses with the dial and came across this video bought the adapter and WALAH , thank you so much🙏🏻 I do mechanic work in my vehicle this issue had me stumped Ty once again👍🏼
My friend who was an a/c tec was stumped as well. Finally he had a can piercing tool that allows for a hose attachment. I was ready to cry uncle after 4 hrs of trouble shooting. Thank you!!!
S.O.B. I didn't know this, using an old screw in adpater hose and sure enough NOTHING went into the Recharge Port.. So the CANS are Smarter not Harder.
Thank u sir for this UpLoad I went to Auto-Zone & purchased the Adapter for under $5 dollars & it worked like a charm I have the same Hose/Gauge that u have in the video, Food for thought just make sure u know how much Freon your system holds u don't want 2 OverCharge your Ac System.
If you buy a new kit today they do not require the adapter. If you have an older hose (mine was from like 4 years ago), you’ll need the adapter. If you can, I would recommend just getting a new kit with a hose that can be reused and skipping the adapter completely. They are like $20 at Walmart.
@@MakaveliTraines94 I’m not sure how to tell from the hose exactly. I’m not exactly sure when they started to do this but I also have the super tech one. @@doityourself8684 my friend this adapter does not work period. You made this video for the likes and subscribers. This is not serious. Same supertech ac can in hand with same oreilly adapter and nothing is coming out. Still in oreilly parking lot. Why would you do us like this. Ahh

UM, when you pull the trigger on that re-usable attachment, that temporarily plunges the valve core and allows for transfer of the refrigerant. It works as it's supposed to, unlike TH-cam, where people are stupid and thank you for nothing.

Because of this video I will follow you
Thanks man. The hoses that these cans come with are hit and miss all the time. This worked like a charm
I was about to admit defeat. and take it to a mechanic. Thank you.

I wish I knew this before replacing the orifice tube. 09/03/23……. Thank you much!
Thanks from Houston 🎉❤
Yeah had to do mine spent hours trouble shooting saw this and i'm sure this is my problem now.
Thanks very much. I just do not understand why they just sell this without given an adapter or clear instruction on this need.
Thanks. Supposed to be 97 here tomorrow. Hope this will fix me up.
Just exchanged for refrigerant with hose connector..thanks..I have cold air..went in smooth
Thanks for this video. I was getting ready to pull my hair out in frustration.
me too man .... me too
EPA seriously is getting so ridiculous with the guidelines. Even in home AC's theyre getting ridiculous. All a money grab to be honest.

Thank you 👏👏👏
What if it won't take enough refrigerant? It stops filling as soon as the compressor kicks on and stays on. It doesn't cycle. Thanks
Thank you 😊
Thanks. I'll tell hubby
Thanks for the help. I appreciate it.
Geez, ya think they'd tell you. I just experienced this
How did you make 1 minute video feel that long
Do I need the adapter because I didn’t get one

I can’t imagine how many cans are wasted and end up leaking anyhow because of this change in the design, The cure is worse than the disease perhaps?
Nope. Did not work.
Thanks
