I like the way LTA Utama talks to the group. Very leadership, very motivating. Indeed a good leader.

there was this officer in my coy who was a bully and always looked for excuses to tekan the men. the men got smart and he could not tekan them for sometime. then he cooked up a flimsy excuse to tekkan the men. a group of men were in the toilet cleaning up after the tekan session and one guy shouted in hokkien may a car knock him dead. the rest joined him and shouted in hokkien may a car knock him dead 3 times loudly. that offier died in an rta 3 years after ord.
officers. do not be a bully. you went thru ocs only . you did not go thru a war or even a battle. do not be yaya.

I understand those who fall in the last few positions will graduate to become admin officers or BMT instructors, is that correct?

i remember reading a news about SAF OCS -- a thai cadet who got best PT award said he found singapore counterparts as good as him, except that singaporean cadets are not used to carrying very heavy loads....i agreed.

mid-way point is the range. but next station is the end point. SAF logic.

It's is stated from the range to the end point is 3km.
It's a full combat gear run
So why can't it be the midway point?
Ownself stupid should diam diam alr don't make urself sound smart LOL

Put these soldiers in a REAL war overseas... if they lead men and overcome live rounds, insurgents, rocket launchers, then we'll talk. nothing is more telling than real war. Tough training compares next to nothing when you see your buddy's head get blown off his body by a sniper, and you still lead your men to overcome the enemy, go back and carry your buddy' body back home to his family.. That is a real soldier.

This video only shows how much standards have dropped since i was in ocs. I guess must be the working of 2 decades of welfare policies in the army. Should remove this video in case armies of other countries see this and SAF becomes a laughing stock.
