I had the idea for this a few months ago. Linkara has a tradition of doing an episode in a series that isn't his for April Fools Day, and this seemed kinda perfect. I really do like this show, so I binged and recorded every episode to prep for this video. I am really happy with the result. The alternate Honest Title was "Batman: Abridged Knight" If the actual Honest Trailers people see this, I will actually shit.
They didn't kill it? Went on to have another follow up series New Batman Adventures which then went on to build the entire DC animated universe. Most cartoons were lucky to get 50 shows and the noir Batman had over 80. Go watch the follow especially Justice League as its some of the best comic book animation ever made.

What's really tragic is that the show did make profit. It was the highest rated show in both its time slots (9AM on Saturdays and 3AM on Sundays) despite the zero advertisement, the tie-in comic sold gangbusters (over 70,000 copies for the first issue), and the DVD sales were great. The network just did not want this show to succeed because the execs decided that drama heavy episodic format cartoons weren't viable anymore despite the overwhelming evidence that showed there was an audience for them.
The 2004 Batman Show is the first time I was introduced to The Dark Knight back When I was 4 (or in 2005 when I was 5) & I didn’t have cable at the time.

I mean I think I’ve seen a few episodes of it when it was airing on Cartoon Network but I’ve seen this as much as I’ve seen that CG Green Lantern show. I know this is on DC Universe but I really want to see this get not only the treatment of a Blu-Ray release like Batman Beyond and Mask of the Phantasm did, but also get revived on that service like Young Justice did with its third season.

What's interesting as I seen this as one of the shows I saw advertised in a Streaming service Advertisement so.......Yeah, that's weird (Watched the show on Toonami, holy shit did this show get screwed.........like so many other shows, such as Megas XLR and Symbionic Titan.).

I was looking up the oncoming schedule to see if anything interesting would come on to see if I should mow the lawn now or later and was *STUNNED* when I saw the premiere of season 3. I had not seen one commercial and if I hadn't looked ahead I would have missed.

Not really sure about Anarky looking like a DC Moon Knight... although I agree with teen titans go being barraged like a missile volley... This show seems interesting... Although Cartoon Network will never learn it's lesson and will just spam Scooby Doo movie marathons and Teen Titans Go... It would be more pleasant to play Punchtime Explosion...
She also has a cameo appearance in The Lego Batman Movie... just like most every other villain in existence. Even Blight shows up, and he's a Batman Beyond villain.
I love this show, yes it is not as amazing as the original BTAS and TNBA, and i will always have a soft spot for brave and the bold, but i watched this show religiously when it was on...until they moved it to toonami and i couldn't watch it because it was on at like 2 in the morning. I watched the rest of the series on demand and about a year ago rewatched the entire series and i loved it. it was something new and fresh and was very well made. It is a complete shame that Cartoon Network cut it off and i would love to see maybe an animated movie to tie up the loose plot threads. loved this video, and happy to see someone bring attention to this great series :-)
