Incredible Matt. 84 degrees, overcast, put the bikes up and closed up shop. The symphony from those cams, truly made the day. Thank you. PRAYERS FOR THE FAMILIES IN BOONE, who were struck with tragedy today. GOD BLESS all who lost their loved ones. T.S. RACING 🙏🙏
Dang , I'm getting excited listening to all that went into the build , and you're the one riding it... But to me it's always exciting to see the older machines get.a new lease on life. Excellent ...
I remember your father when he was at the Lee Hartung barn. I worked across the street at Signode Steel where I serve my apprenticeship is a tool maker I was there 17 years. My father also worked or he told me once that the barn across the street guys had a Lotta old cars in there. I wish I would’ve known that you could go view him. My buddy they grew up down the street we live real close to that area his dad newly he would vist Lee on Saturdays. His dad was a mechanic for peoples gas company and he always had these old car seat buying a junkyard give them my paint brush paint job and get them running for 35 bucks. That was the first time I was introduced to your father on TH-cam watching that series he’s quite the guy. I myself retired at 64 and took Harley Davidson class bought a sportster 883 iron got my license and I put on 6900 miles since then not leaving the area.
I would like to know who he has making these pistons if it's someone he knows or somebody like Wiseco who can make a piston for anything if they have the specs or a old piston to go by including custom pistons .
Has the museum ever considered obtaining a Sokol ? True it is not American made but it had many of the features of both Indian and Harley Davidson. It also had some cool innovations that Indian and Harley Davidson did not have. It was manufactured in Warsaw Poland in the 1930s, and considered by some to be the best motorcycle of that time. It would make an interesting addition.
I'm guessing that upturned exhaust was originally intended for TT and Enduro bikes for making water crossings and not as a custom fashion statement that most everyone today assumes.
I was wondering if you guys had a z90 like the one in Bad News Bears. Do you consider it a real Harley-Davison. I would like to know more about it and how rare it is. Thank you in advance for any information you might have.
Matt, was there any correlation/collaboration in thoughts/engineering etc. between Ford and Harley when Harley started making their Flathead in 1929 and when Ford started making their Flathead in 1932? Or was it all just coincidence in naming?
That looks a bike you could become one with. I see a lot of people who think it's only about displcament and horsepower and anything else is just inferior.
Saw this at the door on the way in yesterday! Really caught my eye because you can tell it’s different. Awesome to be able to meet Matt and talk a little while I was there. It’s been a couple years and the new additions were great to see! Will be back.
Thank you all for tuning in!

Nick didnt grind the cams, I did. I also did the cylinders, and IIRC the open bearing race conversion. Pistons are Corvair. -Joe
gorgeus! Much love from Austria
Super Cool Scooter! 👍🏻💯🇺🇸
Beautiful bike Matt!!
Thanks, I love a parts-bin bike: the ultimate in re-use and recycling.
I know it's possible a crazy idea. But ever think of building a Wall of death.
Love your work. May it live on for ever
Very, very cool!
Sweet Thanks for sharing !

Great bike. Loving this series!
Outstanding
Can we get a more in-depth explanation and maybe visual on the offset Pistons I would really love to hear more of your knowledge on it
I would like to know who he has making these pistons if it's someone he knows or somebody like Wiseco who can make a piston for anything if they have the specs or a old piston to go by including custom pistons .
Perfection.
learn something new every show, cool
Wow, that's 1 sweet flathead
Thanks
Awesome
This is the kinda bike I live for
great bike
Wonder if you might ever compare a Cushman Scooter engine on a bench next to an HD engine?

looks lovely mate
Dream bike.
Is that a skull shifter knob? The custom taillight is modern. The original ones had a domed red lens, not cylindrical.
I wonder how much all those bike parts cost? Sweet bike, love the salty patina.
I know NICK in Williamstown New Jersey same guy right? I’m sure it is he is a wizard pretty cool hearing you mention him
Awesome job Matt! Looks like it could of came from the dealer that way.😊
You sure have built the quintessential definition of a bobber a prime pure example
Very nice
wow, first i've ever heard about that wrist pin mod'; WTTM is an education.
Dale, Matt's picked up the baton, rest easy we're in safe hands.
Cool i can definitely tell your day influenced you
hi Matt and crew

How can every time I see this awesome machines some can have rust parts all but the engine do they a like special coating ?
Geez, sounds more like a Sportster than a big flattie, not bad, not bad at all!
Another great hot Harley

That's my bike, it's in my dreams
Ride hard and free.
You never mentioned the 'Scull Shifter'...
So Matt, this is the bike you're gonna enter in the Jack Pine Enduro?
Now that’s a motorcycle
Saw this at the door on the way in yesterday! Really caught my eye because you can tell it’s different. Awesome to be able to meet Matt and talk a little while I was there. It’s been a couple years and the new additions were great to see! Will be back.
so that's what a flathead 80 sounds like...neat
No trash can lid symphony!
I like it! Sounds like she's got a little snot.
How much money do these builds cost LOL I feel like they gotta be high high dollar
Now paint to keep up with engine appearance
Call it the lil fish
👍🐷👍
😬Those forks....😅
modern looking
@@fidelcatsro6948 Too much for my taste....😅🤣
That hydraulic front end looks waaaay outa place on that thing.
Still a nice bike tho.
That'll Do nicely...Don't bother to wrap it!!
everything is period correct, only his sunglasses are not. besides that your videos are like time travel for me
Can we have some more commercials please?
Get rid a that pug nose front fender!
A rigid frame off road ? Good luck with your back problems in later life .
A bike from a time when men (and women) had stronger backbones. 🤣
The sprung seat helps somewhat.
