It's a fantastic app to get editing easily, yet has the depth and toolset to let you go further as your skillset evolves.
I'm a big fan of Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom (bit.ly/CC-adobe), but Luminar Neo is far more intuitive, easier to get good results, and has more creative tools than you can wave a stick at! It's well worth checking out if you're new to photo editing, a new photographer looking for a way to quickly get your photos edited, or simply looking for a quicker photo editing program.

BIG NEWS! Skylum has just launched a summer sale where you can save a massive 81% off Luminar Neo here bit.ly/NeoSale But the cool thing is in addition to that they've given me a coupon code to share with you so you get to save ANOTHER 20% (use code AFF-T5C1C0 ) I really hope that helps you out! It should work for both the perpetual licence and the subscription too. Enjoy😄 Best wishes, Anthony
Applying the Accent tool twice is cool. I wish TH-cam would let me upvote this video twice.
Loved every second of this video! Thank you
Thanks for this! I am new to photography and have a couple hundred photos with my Sony a6400. This will be an exciting journey!
No worries. Glad it's helpful for you!
The best Luminar Neo tutorials you'll find anywhere, thank you Anthony. 👍😎
A big thank you for all the educational videos on Neo. Despite Neo’s full feature set, great to learn how to take minimal steps to enhance a photo without turning it into something that wasn’t authentic to the original.
Great tutorial. Thanks!
Thank you for the advice.
Thanks for all your tutorials. I love Luminar Neo - it literally saves me hours of editing that I wouldn't get around to. I just want to make some improvements that make a good photo look great (but not award winning excellent), and Luminar Neo is perfect for that!
Brilliant, thank you.
Great job Anthony.
I really appreciate your videos. I’ve been trying to learn how to make my photo’s better, and your instruction is terrific. Thank you, and keep with it!
Thanks so much. I appreciate you watching and commenting and for sure the Superthanks is much appreciated! I want to try to keep my content free and away from the course model for as long as possible, and while the income from TH-cam is a pittance, kind gestures like yours really help me out with it. Thank you 🙏
Great video! Even for a seasoned Photoshop user, the ability to quickly edit a collection of photos to a pretty decent result using just a few sliders in Luminar can be a real timesaver! Thanks for sharing!
Totally agree! 😀
Scrolling thru You tube and see my home towns waterfall as your thumbnail. Hope you had a great visit and great shot btw 😊
Thanks. Loved it there. What a fantastic waterfall! One of my faves here in NZ.
Thanks again Anthony. As usual, a great presentation. Additionally, I just purchased another 2 year subscription and got a 20% discount using your code. That makes this a double thank you.🙂
Great to hear! 😀
How do you manage to teach me something new each time? :) I'm talking about saving an action as a preset. Didn't know that before. Thanks!
Thanks, a good instructional video. I particularly like the idea of re-using the accent ai tool twice - great tip. I'm currently exploring whether the new ON1 Photo RAW 2024 Brilliance tool is as good or better. MIxed results so far depending on the source file. Photo Raw really doesn't seem to like DNGs from my iPhone but pretty good with Sony ARW Raws. A comparison video from yourself would be excellent? But as an aside, ON1’s Sky replacement is better (for me). Thanks again.
Thank you for all the tutorials, I learnt how to change the horizon today so thank you. Can you add a signature to photo's in Neo
Hi Ken. Thanks. I nearly cut that bit of the video out as I wasn't sure it was on-topic. Glad I left it in now 😀
I often feel tempted to just slap Accent AI onto those images where I don't want to spend time going through the whole workflow. But there's always that little voice in me that says "This is too easy--it's like cheating!" However for everyday snaps, using Accent AI is more than sufficient. We can't afford to spend 20 min editing every photo!
AT -- have you tested and can do a video on the difference you might find and if one method is either equal or better -- Yes! One image HDR. Image is easily adjusted also within the HDR. TIA
Nice idea for a comparison vid! I'll see what I can do!
Yours really are good videos and neo sounds like something a complete beginner could use. But I get frustrated when a feature is missing . We cannot use the DAM with tags, colors etc. and have all that information carry over to Lightroom in the future since it doesn't as yet. We would need a separate library program. Maybe I am missing something?
Yes Neo is the perfect editing program for beginners, and yes you're also right that its library features are limited. However, I have heard that their may be some updates coming to that in a future update. I do still have a lot of my catalogue info in Lightroom but I've also used Excire successfullyrics for that too.
@@AnthonyTurnham Something happened. Don't know if what I wrote went through so I will repeat. A nice video might be comparing / reviewing Exire, PhotoMechanic etc. and how they might solve some problems. Thanks
