99% not a dog guy, but I love how Lincoln constantly gives zero F about noise and dirt and everything.
it would be nice if vids were released in order
I'll say I skipped a couple because I had already seen the car finished
@@waynewhangarei out the gate bro im from kamo!
@@GotMadStacks oh true chur hikurangi
Really nice of James May to stop by and help.
😂 I glad I wasn't the only one thinking that Todd was the Canadian version of James May
Lincoln the top mechanic is not happy with the way the motor is running😂😂😂😂
Thought James May leant a hand building the engine for a moment 😅 Great job 👏🏻
Love the long videos.
The way Lincoln ran away when it first popped off 😂
That dog is a gearhead and smart af. 😅
Professor Rust Bros , loving this rebuild
All these motorhead guys with the long white hair. It’s like being at the 50th anniversary of hotrod convention, LOL
Good stuff! 😆
his buddy needs to buzz that angel hair fiberglass off his head
What you talkin about willis ? What's that ?@raaawkstaaar
That knowledge about cars is crazy ❤
Engine guy brought his best shirt but maybe not his best game ! 😂
Lincoln says it sounds a little ruff
Thank you . What an excelent video. Could not get enough of you bunch of down to earth people . Fantastic entertainment, keep on being great.
I watch this channel for Lincoln he’s a cool dog.
He’s feral and annoying.
@@laurafulton7023what you talking about Willis?
@@laurafulton7023and everyone would much rather be around him than you so there’s that.
Lincoln is top mechanic in the shop bro
She's alive!!!!
sounds good, Lincoln sure had a lot to say didn't he
She purrs like a kitten, didn't realize how much work there is before you can actually turn the key! Great video Mike! tc all.
The Barbour don't make much off you guys. Lol
Friggen love watching this stuff. Very entertaining. Cheers guys.
If there is no dropping acid involved, you sure missed an opportunity . How anything comes out of that garage amazes me EVERY time.
Make an electrolysis cleaner for greasy parts and engine blocks.....
45 gallon plastic drum
Metal coat hanger
Old barbq grill
12v battery charger
Water+baking soda
Very simple contraption and works awesome...
Hey your right that casting your working on is a 327 1964-67 250-300hp 2 bolt main
Don't miss an episode, I'm a Chevy girl through and through, I love working on the older cars and motors..love the color of the car it's going to look absolutely beautiful in the sun... Your a handsome man..
purrs beautifully
You guys are knocking it out of the park, great content. Can't wait to see the car on the road 😄. Way to go everyone.
Would love all the parts you got laying around you got a lot of good stuff and you can’t find it that run stand most people building motors would love
Sounds great
The newer SBC blocks have a bolt hole where you can put a bolt in to hold the fuel pump rod while installing the pump but them early blocks don't have that so I use wheel bearing grease and it's just enough to hold it up and make sure the rod is not sitting on the lobe of the cam or it will be a bitch to install
One thing about organized chaos is it will always keep you in shape physically LOL I don't know about mentally
We love you brother 🫡 all the way from Connecticut.
Right on, I'm right in Western Mass watching every video they upload. Cool to see someone nearby is watching too!
Looking amazing cass ❤
Awesome work guys
No Micheal the oil pre load " tool" was put there by you right around the time you put the oil filter on before Todd even got there LMAO
Nice work , fabulous transformation keep up the great work
better add a day to this build , if Todd is going to be there.
Wow that was awesome 👍 great job
is this the Bad Hair olympics? maybe Matt should get a stylist on staff
Your buddy Todd looks pretty familiar, like The Grandtour kinda familliar..
sounds great looks awesome
Mike, you should put a pad on the floor for your poor knees!! Always good to see an episode of Rust Bros
LOL, Thanks Blair, for saying what I was thinking at 10:38. I've swung her up to 7K on numerous occasions and lived to tell the tale. It's kind of like running the gauntlet though. You don't want to keep spinning 'that' wheel. I like Mike!
i remember my first intake swap as a kid fu@kin up the firing order
Oh yeah man she sounds awesome Mike that looked like fun , wish I could have been there to twist with you and todd
Ticking boxes! Well done.
Love you're TH-cam channel watching from New Zealand Westcoast South Island keep them up Blair is a master craftsman an educational
Buller ?
I believe the early 350 h.p. , 327 motors came with anti pump up lifters not solids
The fuel pump is fine. thats how they all are, takes ALOT of pressure to move that arm by hand nothing the cam can't handle though
take the caps off the pressure and vent lines won't be hard to pump
That carb adaptor looks like someone cut up an old pizza pan.
Long videos are great! More LINCOLN for the buck. Way to go team!
Wow, how do you find anything in that hoard is beyond me.😂 That SB should have a bolt hole in the front where you can use a long bolt to hold the fuel pump rod up. Then once the pump is in change the long bolt for a shorter one and remember to apply Permatex 2 sealant to the bolt threads. LOL, you’ll never push that fuel pump arm with your hands unless it’s worn out. Number 1 spark plug wire on the distributor cap points to 1 cylinder only on a HEI distributor, not a points distributor. On a points distributor cap #1 plug wire in the post to the left of the points adjustment window.
That motor got a bark to it. Lol
Just a little healthy awesome radar life
Your shop is so chaotic it causes me high anxiety, I need to meditate after watching an episode. Too much
The last 3 minures was like real life, Krass & Bernie 😅
If you know who that is, you're my kind of people 😅
Best 3 minutes of Rust Bros TH-cam so far!
Kars was that the mag? anyways i remember
@bradc32 it was a magazines called CARtoons by George Trosley. Characters were loosely based off of him and his bro apparently.
sounds like that engine has a bit of a bark. lol
Everything has it Place, and Everything all over the Place...
Love your videos Mike isn’t it time you built one of those super bees or the 69 charger?
You should put on a Holley Sniper
Free Advice. Do a video starting and running that engine so people can see and hear it running.
Nice to see James May from Top Gear on the show.
Sounds epic
Cool content 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Mike those headers you tried on the 327 look like BBC headers to me
I thought that guy was Blair with long hair and gained a bit of weight trip me out anyways love you guys
Hope you can get it running
I use a electric water pump on my run stand and hook it to a battery or battery charger
Great job Everyone!
Think if mike take time an clean up little, might get to stuff. Lol
Good evening everyone
Good morning my friends on the west coast
lincoln is the perfect guard dog
Yeee Yeee 😊😊😊😊
I remember Avery testing an engine on this setup with no oil in the engine. Then Mike made him shop foreman of the foreskins.
Hahaha 😂❤
Can't wait to see you guys in Freddy
I like your video cars
Allen Grove makes the best alternative bracket for the system your trying to achieve.
Lincoln is like, "The engine started it."
The way to keep the fuel pump rod up against the cam is to remove the short bolt from the front motor mount hole an put a longer bolt in, it will press against the rod
for slow people that cant shove the rod up and put the pump on before it drops.
This 327 doesn't have a thread hole for that. You can see in the casting where it could have been lol 👍
Literally this channel should be called Man moves junk at Hoarder House!!!
That’s funny Mike looked like an old scare crow when he’s close up to the camera lol
you trying say he looked like Worzel Gummidge ?
Still a good video 💪🏻🇨🇦👍🏻
Those fuel pumps are always that hard to move
I want that corvette outside
Hey mike when are you going to be in Newfoundland I came to bc last year and I stoped by the yard but no one was around that day been wanting to meet you since I first seen your show would be really cool to get to meet you while your in Newfoundland
GetRdone!!
Is that a 327 looks by the casting marks it's got double hump heads on it so it's out a Vette or something I remember those double hump heads were the shit back in the day before the Vortex heads or aftermarket aluminum heads came out I still got a set of those heads sitting on a 350 I use to run in a 83 S10 back in the day
Learned lots. Thanks Mike
Hi mike hi rust 🔝👋👋👋👋
Tbh I'm glad I fount the youtube account because I loved tho show man been wondering what's going on glad to see all is well and imma be coming back next video for sure🤌👍
Hi Mike, Are you using a Rochester Quadrajet ? That 327 sounds really good. Nice job. Take care. Roland
Mike there's a bolt in the front of that motor you screw out and screw a longer one in there and it holds that fuel pump rod up while you install the fuel pump you will see two bolt holes it is the top one in front of the engine right there by the fuel pump
Not on this block
As it’s a treasure hunt every day
I can't wait to see that 66 driving down the road again .
Hey Rust Bros Lyle from Saskatoon sk in the building
👍
You need to build You a big gantry in your yard or an extendable gantry so you can lift things out without moving things might be 1 on market place save you alot of unnecessary work
Hey guys
Lincoln must wonder what the heck these guys are doing half the time.Blair is pretty good.
How much do you want for your big block that would be my dream to own one for my s10 pick up 😊
