Developers of Things are just awesome!
Love the team at Cultured Code!
I’m glad seeing a video showing love to Bear. I love that app and been using it since like 2017. The tag system is definitely not for everyone and its not as feature heavy as others, but its the best digital writing experience I’ve found (and I’ve tried plenty)
Same! I've written very long-form pieces in Bear as well as quick notes. Love the flexibility!
My girlfriend turned me onto an organizer app called structured it’s pretty helpful for me I have ADHD pretty bad so I have to constantly write things down to remember and have things pop up to remind me there’s a paid part that gives u more customization and I also use Apple notes I haven’t utilized apple notes fully yet but I want to I also use reminders but not as much as the other two so thank u for showing more options to try I will keep them in mind & thank u 😎🤙🏻🍎
Will check out the Structured app! Hadn't heard of it.
Thanks for sharing. Blessings on your day!
Same to you!
The main criteria for me when looking at a notes/things app is absolutely no subscriptions. The only time i may consider is if they offer cloud storage and even then I use iCloud anyway. There is absolutely no reason that an application that doesn’t have a backend should require a subscription for something as simple as taking notes.
Ongoing feature additions and improvements.
Notes supports tags too and can appear in multiple Smart Folders.
Great video! Another reason I don’t use Apple Notes, is that it has poor options for getting your data out, intact. Whereas Bear has a large selection of formats for exporting data.
Yes! Forgot to mention that flexibility in Bear
Can you make a more in-depth video about Bear and also create shortcuts for it?
I need a reminder/task app that works with smart stack. I want to see the To Do's i have in my smart stack but Apple Notes only shows the Reminders due today. Is there an app where I just want to see what I need to do in Smart Stack? Thanks.
If you mean as a widget, you can use the Things widget and choose a specific list (like today) and even filter by tags
can you make shortcuts about the Things 3 app?
For sure! Anything in particular you're looking for?
@@beardfm Well, can you make one to add the tasks to the calendar as well, if there is no event with that name? I mean because I complete tasks during the day, I don’t want it to create duplicates every time I run the shortcut.
Craft App is my fav I like it cuz it’s similar to notion but it looks nicer and less clutter. Although they seem to be adding so much stuff it’s getting to be to much. Apple notes just doesn’t work for me.
Which wallpaper are you using?
These! renzssadiwa.gumroad.com/l/xhvpsh
Ahhhh yes, the illusion of productivity.
I mean, I make a lot of videos and podcasts each week.
Your number 4 would automatically eliminate notion. Spending so much time setting it up and then tweaking along the way.
Bear doesn't have collaboration though, and it's found for project management it's not ideal.
All those tasks become a whole 9-5 in itself taking us away from the actual work 😂
That's why I like quick entry and quick completion!
Who have some nice wallpaper packs ?

If you feel you need to have so many apps and such an elaborate system to organize your life, you’re living an unfocused life.
Or maybe people just live different lives just maybe tho it’s a really really small chance that people live different lives
If you own your own business you’re going to need to rely on these things. Not to mention people with memory issues.
Or you’re a TH-camr and you’re trying to show the most options to your audience.
I’m a senior mechanical engineer by day, trying to get my own consultancy off the floor by evening. I don’t think I could have more focus, but thank you for the patronising tone
There are several irons in the fire, but these apps help me keep them straight and on track.
Man you should retire and live in an offgrid forest. You have so much stuff going on
Maybe one day, but I enjoy sharing tutorials and tips with others!
