@@SpeeeeeedLive89 Moin :) also die 3,8L sind echt nicht so schlecht, allerdings recht durstig im Vergleich zu meinem 3,4L V6 Firebird (habe ich auch) und vom Sound kann der 3,8L auch nicht mit dem 3,4L mithalten, der Firebird hat eine Walker Catback, klingt wirklich super, die 3,8L hingegen bekommen das rotzige Blubbern wegen der Zündanlage und Alumotor nicht so ganz hin^^ naja alles kann man nicht haben ;) LS1 sind in der Tat top Maschinen😍👍
@@4th.Gen.V6-F-Body-4life Achso, also von Verbrauch her konnte ich mich nicht beschweren beim 3.8l. War im Schnitt bei 9l auf 100km. Beim Sound gebe ich dir auf jeden Fall Recht. So gut klingen die 3.8l leider wirklich nicht (hatte damals einen Dynomax Catback), da schneidet der 3.4l definitiv besser ab ;) ... Aber das ist ja auch nicht schlecht wenn du beide Varianten besitzt :D
Something like that. My Trans Am does it in about 6.7 sec from about 700 rpm. But it is an automatic. Some have claimed to reach 5.5 sec, but I guess those are manual.
@@theterminator6121 not with the slush box 4 speed compared to a 6 speed manual I can row gears way faster and they aren’t atrociously long like in the 4 speed like 2nd shifts at what 95? In the ls1 Camaros but yes a new car like a 10r80 mustang would shit all over the 6 speed variant
Makes sense, EU cars usually have speedos they can't really close all the way, my LS1 could use a 180mph speedo on the other hand, vey easy to reach 155mph+ and run out of digits.

Really ? GM usually cheaped out back then and used parts from other cars left and right. I didn't know they even made a 165mph Speedo at that time, the one I have is the same 155mph one that's in a 5.3l V8 Impala and Monte Carlo. Would love to see the one in your car as I never seen one, I thought about putting in a speedo from the LS2 Pontiac GTO, it goes up to 200mph and has white/red dials. The Trans-Am had awesome red glow dials back in the day too.
@@maximilianfast46 Grundsätzlich schon. Es kommt aber auch darauf an, ob es nur ein Spaßauto sein soll, oder ob du ihn im Alltag bewegen willst. Damals war der Chevy mein Alltagsauto und hat mich immer zuverlässig von A nach B gebracht... Inzwischen habe ich mir einen Z28 zugelegt und den V6 verkauft, da ich nun ein anderes Alltagsauto habe und mir die Leistung nicht mehr ausgereicht hat. :D

The car was very reliable. The only problem in all that time was a broken ignition coil. ... But this is a known issue for that engine.

Your gauges are from a V8.....unless you swapped them, 3800 Series II has a 120mph/200km/h speedometer.

That's the fuel pump making that sound right before the start up.

Ich habe den V6 in der Regel mit einen Durchschnitt von 9 - 9.5l auf 100 km gefahren. Bei extrem sparsamer Fahrweise waren durchaus auch 8l drin.
