Sponge cake

When feeling like quick simple cake, sponge cake it’s always a perfect solution with few ingredients needed.
Ingredients:
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder or 1 baking soda and 1 baking powder
1 tsp vanilla essence
Few drops of yellow food colouring
230ml sugar
120ml milk
3 eggs
Instructions ~ whisk sugar and butter together till it’s creamy, add eggs one by one, milk, vanilla essence and food colouring mix together, add 2 cups flour and baking powder, mix with wooden spoon, bake on 180 till toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean
