What I read from another article was that there were several people who had threatened the Princess who were stalkers, which was why the Queen wanted Diana to stay at Kensington Palace.
She also fought with Charles, about allowing Diana to keep her HRH. That would allow her to keep her security, & access to the crowns funds for the many charities that Diana had. But Charles threw a fit, & the Queen relented😑. If Diana had the security that would be assigned to her, as an HRH Princess. Those paps would've had less access to her, much less the ability to engage in a high pursuit chase. But ultimately, we will never know. What on earth makes you think she was intelligent? She was homeschooled. Never demonstrated any proficiency in other languages, never said more than 2 sentences without a script that she read from. Only made small talk with people she met and talk about them (because that’s what all the royals do). Didn’t initiate any great charities or causes. She was very young and naive when she became queen. And was surrounded by her courtiers, husband, male cousins, mother, and the PM. She did what she was told because she was bound by duty. I couldn’t believe that a car accident killing a member / former member of the British Royal Family was investigated, and cleaned up in under 24 hours. A fatal accident in the US not involving a member of such high standing can sometimes take days. They never interviewed one specific witness, who at this moment I cannot recall his name, and actually scrubbed down the tunnel where the accident occurred. Scotland Yard had no opportunity to even view the scene, granted it wasn’t their jurisdiction, but I would think they would at least want to lay eyes on where she was killed. The decision not to interact with the public on behalf of the Queen made me additionally suspicious. Yes, I know keep a stiff upper lip, and protect William (Harry, who I rather dislike now, was always a second thought) at all costs, but not acknowledging her subjects made it appear as if they knew it was coming. She just didn’t expect the reaction of the people / world. She was never liked, or accepted. The Queen chose D and respected her. It wasn’t for years that the Queen would have anything to do with Camille and only allowed them to marry once her grandsons were adults. Not saying it wasn’t murder but maybe a crime of opportunity after the accident. In the end her own decisions played into the events that happened; rushing her driver, the section of her bodyguards, unplanned changes and constant refusal to wear a seatbelt.

I honestly believe that the driver was drugged. He might have had a drink or two but any English man is able to hold his liquor. It's like milk to them. I'm not being glib I am a realist. It's literally a household staple in most English homes and I am pretty sure the driver thought that he was fine to drive and he was drugged with something that has a slow acting effect. What I read from another article was that there were several people who had threatened the Princess who were stalkers, which was why the Queen wanted Diana to stay at Kensington Palace.
She also fought with Charles, about allowing Diana to keep her HRH. That would allow her to keep her security, & access to the crowns funds for the many charities that Diana had. But Charles threw a fit, & the Queen relented😑. If Diana had the security that would be assigned to her, as an HRH Princess. Those paps would've had less access to her, much less the ability to engage in a high pursuit chase. But ultimately, we will never know. What on earth makes you think she was intelligent? She was homeschooled. Never demonstrated any proficiency in other languages, never said more than 2 sentences without a script that she read from. Only made small talk with people she met and talk about them (because that’s what all the royals do). Didn’t initiate any great charities or causes. She was very young and naive when she became queen. And was surrounded by her courtiers, husband, male cousins, mother, and the PM. She did what she was told because she was bound by duty. There is no evidence to support her being intelligent.

I couldn’t believe that a car accident killing a member / former member of the British Royal Family was investigated, and cleaned up in under 24 hours. A fatal accident in the US not involving a member of such high standing can sometimes take days.
They never interviewed one specific witness, who at this moment I cannot recall his name, and actually scrubbed down the tunnel where the accident occurred. Scotland Yard had no opportunity to even view the scene, granted it wasn’t their jurisdiction, but I would think they would at least want to lay eyes on where she was killed.
The decision not to interact with the public on behalf of the Queen made me additionally suspicious. Yes, I know keep a stiff upper lip, and protect William (Harry, who I rather dislike now, was always a second thought) at all costs, but not acknowledging her subjects made it appear as if they knew it was coming. The Queen chose D and respected her. It wasn’t for years that the Queen would have anything to do with Camille and only allowed them to marry once her grandsons were adults. Not saying it wasn’t murder but maybe a crime of opportunity after the accident. In the end her own decisions played into the events that happened; rushing her driver, the section of her bodyguards, unplanned changes and constant refusal to wear a seatbelt.

The autopsy reports said he was drunk, but video footage of said driver shows him bending over to tie his shoelaces and walking through the halls of the Ritz just fine, not acting intoxicated at all. I honestly believe that the driver was drugged. He might have had a drink or two but any English man is able to hold his liquor. It's like milk to them. I'm not being glib I am a realist. It's literally a household staple in most English homes and I am pretty sure the driver thought that he was fine to drive and he was drugged with something that has a slow acting effect. Somebody damaged the brakes on the driver's ability to stop drinking knowing that he would be transporting people from point A to point B and it is also the drivers responsibility to ensure all occupants of the vehicle are wearing seatbelts and to stay at or below the posted speed limits, stop blaming everything and everybody for the total negligence of the driver and Dodi al fayad who was the drivers boss who allowed the driver to operate said vehicle after consuming alcohol

The reference to the brakes was because Diana was paranoid and had said (written in a note) they were planning a car accident to kill her and the brakes on Diana's car would be tampered with.
The only similarity between Diana's note and the actual accident was she died as a result of a car accident. It was a coincidence.
The accident was thoroughly investigated several times. First by the French police and there was a British inquest in 2008. All possibilities of an assassination were explored and dismissed. The Mercedes was forensically investigated and the brakes had not been tampered with. All investigations concluded Henri Paul, their driver, caused the accident.
