Helllllo. I'm just playing some Super Mario 64 today on my Twitch livestream. Life is great - I got the new Mizkif pool that won't get used unless Mizkif is live or Mizkif sister is in Austin, Texas. Did you watch Beating Minecraft the Way Mojang Intended It? Or maybe Beating Minecraft the way Mojang Did NOT Intend It? This video is similar, where I try to beat Super Mario 64 the way Nintendo intended. I didn't try getting the super mario 64 all stars, but instead the super mario 64 70 star. I love the super mario 64 music. Ludwig or Mizkif should speedrun mario with me. Or not, I wanted streamers such as QTCinderella, jshlatt otk, mizkif, pokimane, and ConnorEatsPants in my description. Who knows if it helps! Mizkif super mario 64 speedruns was a good time. Man I love watching Mizkif Clips and Mizkif Daily! King Bob-omb is the 1st star listed in BOB, yet you got Chain Chomp, thus getting the stars out of order.

The game intends for any order of star collection in each area.
I was thinking exactly this. You're not supposed to know HOW to get the star unless you see the name of it in the menu and talk to NPCs that tell you to pound the posts.

@@mujtabaalam5907 I dont think the game ever explicitly says how to? I think most new players would see what controls do the starting out, and would naturally find the ground pound. Does anything in the game explain how to ground pound?

I thought the intended way was to BLJ the whole game and then beat the last Bowser with 0 stars.
Simply getting blown off of the platform in SL over and over is an accurate reenactment of me playing this game for the first time a couple months ago.
Really puts into perspective how fast 70 star speedruns are
at first I thought "how is he only like 15 minutes faster during a full speed run?" and then I remembered that he's still missing 50 stars

I´ve been putting all my money on him beating a WR lately, only I thought it would perhaps be in the 16 star category. But since that category has been broken multiple times already recently with runs, that are almost TAS like and only Weegee seems to have a slight chance to enter the list of the chosen few, I´d widen my bet on Clint out to 70 and 120 star categories lol....

I genuinely have NEVER done the intended way for the electric switch things in WDW. Even as a kid I found the teleportation spot and just dropped down. I legit couldn't figure out how to get to the switches. lmao.
Also I think the snowman's head is legit the hardest star in the game to do intended. I always slip like a smidge too far past the penguin.
I used to backflip onto his head and just let him carry you across that way

Hey simply, if you jump right on the very edge of the bridge on the way into the castle at the beginning you can skip listening to lakitu tell you how the camera works. I saw a guy do it on the internet once. Saves you some time.

I've never played m64 but I've watched hundreds of hours of m64 Speedruns and this was legitimately the first time I've seen that alternate tunnel on the ice slide
You should really play it if you can. With a pc controller / emulator, or on switch I guess. It’s super fun game

As a kid i ALWAYS climbed on top of the penguins head in order to not get blown away. I difn't even have to move there. I thought that is the intended way😂

That said, there are still "legal" speedrunning methods that can still be used. A "no glitch 70 star" category might be interesting.

It was summer 98, I was ten. I had already gotten around 80 stars and had beaten bowser and somehow managed to get a strategy guide to get all 120 that summer lol

I like to think most unintended routes are actually intentional, and all the other unintended routes were made for newer/younger players.

Honestly, people who get mad at Speedrunners for glitching are just mad they don't have the dedication to put in the time to learn to do it themselves. I don't have that dedication either, but at least I ain't mad about it.
