Very nice. I am from Glasgow and it was such a pleasure to see the Botanic Gardens again. I have been living in Lisbon for 40 odd years and the last orchid show I went to was in Porto, which I thoroughly enjoyed. In 2 weeks time I will go to one in Coimbra. Thanks ..
Very enjoyable video to watch and such stunning displays from the different orchids societies. Your choice was excellent and I certainly hope it thrives for you, such a cutie. Thanks for sharing.
Nice shots of some Scottish scenery in the bus😁. That one with the chubby little leaves and the white flowers that you like looks like Dockrillia linguiformis, from South east Australia
A great video that gave a real feel for a big orchid show. You did well to get such good results in a place where, I'm sure, there were a lot of people. I've never a managed it. I'm in the East Midlands OS, by the way, and I saw a couple of my Phals on the display in your video.
@@Whatsuporchids I lent four orchids: Phal. mannii and Pink Twilight, which were on the video, my Zygonisia Rhein Blue Angel and my Renanthera monachica x amayani but they were all quite pitiful compared to the plants loaned by growers with greenhouses. I have no chance of growing similar monsters on my windowsills!
This was a fun trip… thanks for taking time to share it. :) I really liked the electronica music and artistic style that you chose in the transition from the train to approaching the conservatory… when that snare drum started ripping… I was like, heck yeah! :) Anyway, do know the artist/song?
Hi Kevin, thank you so much, I didnspend a bit of time trying to find the right track 😅 I'll let you know the name, it came with the editing software but I'm aure it would be available somewhere else as well. I'll let you know when I get home and check in the software 😉
Hi Kevin, sorry took me so long to come back to my laptop! Ichecked the track name, it's called "Architect of the Future" but I can't find it anywhere online... I came with my video editing software and it doesn't even show the artist name, sorry...
Thank you for the video and for the views of the supporting Societies...enjoyed it very much....take care,
Ed.

Thanks a lot Margaret! I thoroughly enjoyed the show and I missed the crowds as well, it was all back to normal, so nice 👍❤️
