Propellor driven airplanes are definitely underrated!

My favorite aircraft is the Dornier 335. It never saw combat. It came out at the end of WW2. Was faster than the mustang.

0:06 interesting, the second prop is faster than the first, often wondered about that as opposed to contra-rotating.
    0:30 the Jimmy Durante Special.

Rare bear is the name of a highly modified f8f bearcat that races in the Reno air race not the line of aircraft and the same goes for Voodoo. It's the name of a single plane not the aircraft's actual designation of the aircraft type

  • @Darthbelal

The B-29 was called the "Superfortress" the later B-52 was called the "Stratofortress."

1:33, umm excuse me but no. Jets we're NOT common place during WW2.. your dead wrong. At that time the ONLY and FIRST jet to be put into combat was the Me.262 built by the Germans. During Korea yes your right, but WW2 NO!!

@@greengoblin876 yes I'm aware the P82 was a combo. But the MC said they combined " 2 - P52 mustangs"
That would be kinda difficult since there weren't any P52s

Poorly researched, arbitary selection of aircraft, many unforgivable mistakes (P-52? Royal British Air Force? etc), pure junk.

An interesting top 15 advanced propellor collection - but not the ones i would have selected. by the way, at 2.50 - this is a Shakleton, not a Beverly. Unfortunately, this video is full of inaccuracies.

The most advanced propeller planes are all be contemporary planes like the Celera 500, V-22 Osprey, Canadair CL515, etc. If you mean the most advanced in their time then you should change the title

One of your Beverleys was a Shackleton and it’s Faery Gannet - like the bird, not Garnet like the stone. At this point I’m going to watch something else. Sorry.

Talks about the Beverley and shows a film of the Avro Shackleton, shoddy very shoddy.😡min 2.46 - 2.53. And another thing it's a Gannet not a garnet, Gannet is a seabird/aeroplane, Garnet is a jewel.

Aircraft modelling hobbiests can try different modern manufacturing and materials and concepts with old aircraft designs
Structural support in the air and on the water, distributed forces by (boat)hull, fuselage, wings, twin tailfins elevators,... land like CL415
Frontal air Drag reduction by positioning of propellers
= small propeller in front to guide the air around the diesel-piston-engine case to rear big propeller for unimpeded thrust
Rectangular squarish - wings, control surfaces, rotors, ...
    Turret front and rear
    Ramp rear, cargo doors sides
Size efficiency of a tour-coach-bus and simplicity of training bus driver to use remote control level of complexity
Pull some Gs, close to more nimble small bomber propeller planes but fly flat for straffing gun from turret. Watch the rear with turret too.
Farmer pesticide sprayer skill level... and size and... ?

    • @engchoontan8483
      @engchoontan8483 ปีที่แล้ว

Twin Propeller at the sides can be painted hollographic-crystal(matte grey) for mirage on fuselage and wings but not pilot. Under wings can be... panels facing rear should reflect-disperse heat of skin-solar-lamps...
Enough effort not to be able to use in middle-east or tropical coastal countries at low altitudes and optically-works the other way at high altitudes of 60'000ft and above.
      Theme objective expressed purpose.

jets climb fast and at a steeper angle, have tremendous lift power and give planes higher speeds. may be more economical overall to operate as well. and electric propeller planes don't have high speed or range.

Fairy Gannet, not Fairy Garnet. A gannet is a large, raucous, colony nesting seabird. It is known for its huge appetite and superb diving skills. Garnets are a group of silicate minerals.
There is also no such military organization as the *Royal British Air Force.* The British military air force, is called the: *Royal Air Force" or *RAF* for short. If it is necessary to designate the country of origin, it's the *Royal Air Force,* or *RAF* of Britain.

This content farm must exist in an alternate universe, because that's the only place you would hear the P51 Mustang referred to as the voodoo. I hate how loose with the actual facts these content farms are. If a student is using them as a source, they are in big trouble. Also, the British plane is pronounced Gannett, not Garnet.

OV-1 Mohawk first flight occurred October 1959… too late for the Korean War (1951 - 53). So your patrolling the Korean DMZ is totally bogus. Maybe you meant the Vietnam DMZ? This error makes much of your video’s accuracy suspect..
