@@ecoideazventures6417 It’s a cool little aircraft for sure. The sound has to go somewhere, so if it’s silent from inside it’s being sent elsewhere. It was a noisy little bugger from the ground. ( I still like it though )
I have to commend all of the engineers and designers for these wonderful concepts. It always takes imagination to start a great idea and all of these are truly remarkable. Once again a great post. Thanks so much :o)
I think most of the concerts with these airplanes are the most incredible design and I strongly believe that they will be out sooner than we think because of the technology that's getting more advanced Day Care planes may be out sooner than we think one of my favorites is the wide wing where you can sit in the wing area and three levels is really good if one from the beginning and towards the end they're all great
There are reasons as to why propeller driven planes have the prop at the front. The disruption of air by the wings and fuselage cause a pusher design to vibrate the whole plane.
Oh I see simple planes !! Cool . Do you play simple Rockets 2? It's better at making planes. I can build whatever plane you like to show in airplane videos
In aircraft design safety is number one, must be design for safe emergency landing this is number one making money for airliners is number two on the list.
@ 10:18 - Ron Smith, engineer at NASA Ames Research Center - Mountain View CA. I worked w/ Ron as an intern for one year (1980?) and it was a treat - after this program.
It's not a traditional bird, but like a ship's twin. It's nice to have wings in the middle of an airplane and have them at the ends of each wing. Transfer by naver papago.
I believe Parasite drag is produced by VERTICAL surfaces and Induced drag is created by HORIZANTAL surfaces ONLY, please let me know if you think I am correct. Thanks
The Progress Eagle is a far-fetched idea that I sincerely doubt will ever come to fruition. It would still have to tolerate adverse wind conditions while flying. I can't fathom 800 people in an aircraft with some ( or many) walking around to visit shops and restaurants. One good 5,000 foot drop will have many severe injuries and deaths.
6:19..."All electric jet..." Right. I have a dream. In my dream, all "narrators" would know something about their subject, rather than just how to read script. But, maybe I'm just being silly. =PC=
synergy? kalispell? ... what happened to his first design? he's been working on some kind of commuter aircraft since the late 90's out there at glacier international air port..
They have done the research and the passenger experience in a flying wing doesn’t work. They are always looking for cheaper seat-mile innovations. When you don’t see them on the plane it is usually when they get shot down for cost, safety, or no market.
Proteus at 7'20" ... Why the Proteus needs that complex layout ??? This goes against the American saying "Keep it simple, stupid!" i.e. the KISS principle fundamental of anything NASA undertakes ???
Knowing how slow it is to board an aircraft that has any number of seats to a few hundred, 800 on an single plane would make the boarding process that would take like a day to happen, let along un-boarding.. No thanks.
Geez talk about click bait. That "vertical lift jet" design shown at 0.05 is an old soviet era Wing in Ground effect aircraft photoshopped/video edited.
These aircraft such as that Boeing, will never be successful as long as wall-street types are running the company. Maybe if the companies go back to be managed by technical leaders that understand this business.
My brain loves being wrapped with this kind of excitement!
Let's see how many subs I get from this comment... ..

This aircraft is so ideal that it can be built very quick!
Where I grew up there used to be an Optica in use / testing. It DEFINITELY wasn’t “ virtually silent”
Thanks for your insight, but what they actually claim is "it is virtually silent in flight". very clever!

Chris Kane in the membrane! Chris Kane in the brain!
4:38 This is SO cool!!!
Lot of em seem to be repeated from the last video of top 15 but it's good info

What a crazy list … Awesome!! ✈️👈🤩👍✨
Excellent stuff bro

AAV-14 was mainly a ground-effect lifter for blasting across the steppe scaring the livestock.
9:42 AD-1 Scissorwing! I remember (reading articles in PopSci about) those! 😏🙃
Very unique and useful! Amazing !

I think the D8 starting at 1:37 is the most bang for the buck and looks to die for.

8:40 "Flying FLAPJACK". Do not take away the flavor of History!
Progress Eagle has been designed by someone who has never studied aerodynamics and it shows. That thing is a drag queen.

I wonder how much extra weight is added to re-enforce an other than round fuselage? Airplanes are round for a reason.

I am posting also today a video about future airplains! Its very excited

Shops and restaurants in an airplane , not likely - they pack people in like sardines for a reason and that's to make money .

What is the so-called responsible for these designs?
Imagine the lifesaving and also life changing technology available in the next 20 years 🤪🤙
Have a great weekend everyone ❤
Name of the soundtrack or link ?
I will be impressed whe n you can get from the East Coast to the West Coast in less than 5 hours.

The progress eagle looks like a flying elephant seal.
Hero Zero, or Zero Hero? That is the question!
Solar panels for these electric panels? Only Sun above the clouds.
Why dont we see Boeing come up with such unique aircraft designs?!

The best air bus should be powered by Lamborghini colour by Ferrari and design outside by Cadillac and inside by rolls Royce

electric aircraft are a dead end. no pun intended.
That Airbus design is not good, efficiency would go way down because of the large increase in frontal area, this is why flying wings never caught on.
Airbus Maverick

If an airplane has propellers it's not a JET!
Turbo jet propeller
