This Album was my start on an "amazing Flight in Space". The music just spoke to me and until this day, it still does. And Arjen just made a perfect Album a bit better, listening to the songs on my way to work started my day perfectly. Thank you Arjen ... and looking forward to the Sunday Concert in 2023 again ! ;)
This has one of the ultimate guitar solos of all time in my humble opinion. And then the killer riff after the solo... Wow. It reminds me of the riffs after the solo in War pigs (Black Sabbath), Fear of the dark (Iron Maiden),... That's how you recognize a true metal classic. I love psychedelic images so hooray for the music video; And before I forget, the intro, the drums, the mix and the vocals are endlessly amazing as well. As good as it gets really. From the first time I heard it (when it came out), I had the feeling this song (and the whole album actually) were written specially for me. This feeling never left. What an bunch of artists.

Since then, Ayreon has meant more to me than almost any other band out there, and has been a vital source of joy, comfort, wonder, and inspiration for me ever since. Thank you Arjen, from the bottom of my heart. Can't wait to see you play live again next September! Oh, and a tangential thanks for turning me on to the works of Jef Bertels. One of his originals is currently hanging proudly in my living room!
Every one his songs, all together is a beautiful and magical piece of music beyond compare. Is it me, or does anyone see a broadway play in all of this magical music? They music, storytelling, the musicals and don’t forget all the singers! Hell, make a Broadway movie and put a limited showing up on the big screen. I know I would be there with many friends!
