    Recently i had to deliver a lecture on this topic in my medical college,
    I watched to this video and discussed same there
    At the end chief guest (our dean) asked me where from did i prepare it
    I said ninjanerd ,he said "how much do u pay for it "
    On hearing it is free on u tube ,i cant explain how happy he was to hear that ,

    My professor mentioned in his endocrinology lecture that both oxytocin and ADH were secreted from both the two nuclei you mention, which would you say is more correct? Great video btw

      yes , your professor is right >>
      but in a little amount >>> for example : paraventicular nuclei secretes oxytocin and 10 % ADH

      the same but they use diffrent measurement units

      +nataly mor they believe that ADH is involved in analgesia. The mechanism of this though has not been completely elucidated yet

    is this topic taught to med school students in western countries???........because here in India we study this in class 11th(high school) and I'm 17 yrs old. we are actually preparing for all India medical entrance examination test so we can get into the best colleges.
