The Best tiny city in Asia, not just yet, and hopefully, the administration take control of the continuous establishments of many more eateries or restaurants, or it wouldn't have the real city feel. It's a big help to have this tiny First World city to offset the existence of the slum communities Manila has, but without fogetting how how to plan to completely eliminate them. This is no easy task but to plan the creation of BGC, Clark City, the proliferation of beautiful parks, the demolition of some slums and turning them into impressive buildings, didn't take that long, so that having a desire to make slums a history, on the part of the government, is just as possible.
Never knew Philippines is so pretty and advanced.

Back in 2002, my relatives treated me to dinner at a restaurant at "The Fort" which was one of 2 restaurants located at what formerly was Fort Bonifacio in Taguig, Metro Manila. Nothing else was there but a large empty tract of land. Today, you are walking around this entire city of skyscrapers with murals and sculptures masquerading as furnitures.
Wow,that was a huge change 😵.

Us Filipinos are riding with Mike and Nelly in appreciations of anything about the Philippines. They deserved everything that every Filipinos are entitled to. These couple are doing so much for the tourist promotions of the country. We're all couch quarterbacks, while they are doing the hard part (work) and enjoying every minute of it. Definitely agree with an art/mural tour as well as an architectural tour! Great idea! I hope some young entrepreneur takes that idea and runs with it! They can use bikes, segways, or an open air double-decker bus.

Richmond, Virginia, USA has had a lot of beautiful murals all over the city for a long time. We used to live there and my husband and I get very entertained with looking for new ones. Those are really nice murals in BGC.

Wait for New Clark City, Solar City, Horizon Manila, SMC reclamation projects in Manila and Cebu, too many to mention. After few years Phi will be different.
Some really good street art there. Nice to see talented people allowed to showcase their talent. Here in Ontario Canada there are a few small towns that have some very awesome murals. Most of them are period art from the towns early years. St Mary's, Hanover, Walkerton and Port Elgin are a few of the places I have seen these awesome works of art.
I used to jog in that place way back mid 90's when there was no big buildings but big acacia trees that dot the place. It was called Fort Bonifacio with military installations and buildings. It really came a long way.

Nice recommendation. Manila has murals scattered all over the city as well whilst Marikina has different artwork all over their city.
2012..I took the plunge and bought 3 condos in BGC. Almost everyone questioned my decision. Now they think I’m a savvy investor.
I missed the best time 2012-2014 ,and I bought at 2017.But to now I think its still a good desicion.
I just live near that mural right across the new garden. Such a pleasant sight to see!!

Check out the bus stops around BGC.
The bus stop in front of the Globe building was colorfully painted and it was one of my favorite bus tops then.
That was 4 years ago though when i was working in BGC and my office is in the Globe building.
Not sure though if they still do paintings on the bus stops now.

Hubby and I love visiting cities and enjoy seeing the architecture.
Awesome video , its goes to show that there is lots of artistic talents in the Philippines also a great way to change the image of the Philippines for the better ,help teach younger generation to appreciate art and encourage them to express themselves. Lots of love and blessings.
The problem is when there's a news they always show the bad image of the Philippines they never show the good side of the Philippines. This has too change! On the news it's always show negative side of the Philippines it's bad for the country and tourists.

Who ever came up to put 'Global' in its city name? It makes me think of a convention center rather than a city.
The only way to create more BGCs is to create more business districts like it across Metro Manila and nearby provinces
We already so.many central business districts all ovrr metro.manila.we have eastwood in quezon city.ayala alabang in muntinlupa.north teiangla in quezon city.macapagañ avenuw in pasay.ortogas in pasig citu.mandalyung also has sevral cbds.makati ayala and so.many other places.
yes. they need to push out more people from their ancestral properties and demolish lots of villages, heritage sites, farm lands, trees to erect another concrete jungle for the sake of "Progress"
