It would cool if you did a “dressing my boyfriend with thrifted clothes” or if you and drew did a couples challenge with styling each other from the thrift store.
Dunno if someone said this, the couple in thrift store portrait are Paul Mitchell and his wife. He is a hair guru and has own line of hair care products. Hugs from central Ontario Canada 🇨🇦
It's John Paul Dejoria and his wife. John Paul Dejoria is the cofounder of Paul Mitchell haircare (Paul Mitchell himself died in the late 80s), and Patron tequila.
Thrifting Shein isn’t problematic, buying from Shein and giving them your money is. If someone doesn’t buy it on the resale market it’s just going off into a landfill.
The only Problem that could come with that is people who finde something like that dress cute and then go and buy themselves a new one. But still the thrifted pieces don’t go to landfill which is good 😊
Biggby is a local coffee chain in here Michigan! Curious how it would have found it’s way all the way down to Arizona! Biggby coffees are a STAPLE for fall, so it’s very fitting lol
I would love to see a video of you thrifting at locally owned thrift stores :) there’s so many in the valley and It would be cool to see what items they have as opposed to goodwill and savers.
@@nicolesposhdisneylife8601 oooo I need to check those out for myself ! I live in central Phoenix and i know of Maggie’s Place thrift store that offer hospitality to pregnant women who are homeless or alone.
I don't think the B Happy is a fail. If it's just a sleep shirt, then no biggie, but of you want to wear it out, thrift flip it and get a giant smiley vinyl to cover up the back
I have to tell you, I am going through it today. Like it's been rough, and watching this video gave me fifteen minutes to breathe more easily. Thank you for giving me a short break from my anxiety.
have you ever thought about relocating somewhere with seasons? I couldn't imagine my life without the seasons changing, it's how I feel movement and time. Just wondering, I know fall is a state of mind but I wonder if you ever miss snow and leaves changing. Also, idk how the winters go in TN so maybe you didnt like them. I love living in New England and seeing fall coming in, having the world shut down during the winter storms, and then gardening in the summer. The only down side is snow shoveling for hours to keep up.
I thought that shorter black skirt looked super cute on you! I can see why you wouldn’t like it though, the length paired with the fit of it isn’t great.
My dad used to have a couple of "grandpa" sweaters. My younger brother and sister and I are ALL allergic to acrylic, so we couldn't "steal" them from him even after he outgrew them. I did, however, help myself to his bomber jacket when he realized it was 2 sizes too small for him, lol. (big family, so lots of hand-me-downs and hand-me-ups).
Hey Carrie, I have to start off with your hair is gorgeous!!! Your makeup, just so pretty and that eyeshadow is stun-ning on you!! Just personally speaking for me, this is one of the best hauls I've seen you do in a minute. I absolutely loved every single piece and that butterfly cropped top was everything!! I also loved that long midi black skirt it fit you soo good...just great haul 😊
i literally went to a thrift store just the other day and was like "oh that sweater's cute...", look at the tag and see Lularoe, and was like NEVERMIND
@@eva8111 huge MLM, their products started as decent quality, the business blew up, and thousands and thousands of women went into debt to start up and had to buy large quantities of product. If they didn't make sales they were just pressured to order more items. The company wouldn't buy back product, quality tanked and clothes started falling apart and ripping, and all these women were left with thousands in inventory and no way to sell them or return them to the company.
If it’s cute, it’s cute. Stop an item from ending up in the landfill. You’re not supporting a crooked company anymore when buying from the thrift store. I understand your mentality, but it’s needlessly full of guilt. ✨❤️
I would love to see a video of you putting your recent thrift finds into outfits like you mentioned in this video! Also I think that leopard print dress looks awesome on you!
OMG the most unique item is the butterfly shirt\sweater it's amazing! I have Turners Syndrome so butterflies are so near and dear to my heart! Been watching you forever but must say best outfit ever!
Can you do a dark cottage core fall thrifted look book? I would love it!! Lots of lace velvet jeans boots romance with dark black blues burgundy Auvergne forest green romance and edge together ! Love your videos so much!!
You are so great at styling for a mid size body you have got to be my new favourite channel...You have kept me entertained with fantastic ideas all night (chronic insomniac) cant wait to hit the thrift shops here in East London, England this week...not today its 06.03am and I am one knackered old lady lol! Thank you Carrie youre great company! Btw that animal print wrap dress looks fabulous on you...to die for!
A girl after my own heart, I couldn't agree more about women's t-shirts having the worst sayings on them! I love the mid-century mini skirt on you. Style it with a turtleneck or fun blouse with tall boots, it would look STUNNING! xoxoxo
Yes, that does say The Butterfly in French. As a French Canadian, I can translate basic words. It’s when Paris slang gets involved that my head starts to spin.
Route 66 is a Kmart brand 😀 yes to styling your thrifting finds . The pattern skirt looks fabulous on you😊 The butterfly sweat shirt goes great with your denim skirt😀 that dress would look fabulous with a statement belt, the zebra dress is fun !
1. I’d love a video of you styling those skirts you showcased in this vid. 2. That faux wrap dress outfit was giving me some real fun wine aunt vibes, and I loved it!
I believe Route 66 was a brand at K-Mart! I used to love going there because they had THEE best selection on lip smackers and CD's lol aw that skirt brought me back to my childhood :')
The wrap dress looks so chic....perfect way to change up your style. I liked The orange dress too, I think it will look great the way you plan to style it. Oh! And the long plaid skirt is fantastic!
Maybe a fun video idea could be to thrift things you think are cute but aren’t exactly your comfort zone (like the body con dress) and style them as they are worn normally by society and then in a way you would wear it to be comfortable! Since we have similar body types, I’m always so interested to see how people style clothes that are trendy but outside of their comfort zone!
I love this video!! I think my favorite is the grandpa sweater, but if you’re ever wearing that and start to get hot, the material gets really itchy!! So cute though!!
Agree with you about separating by size...which is the only thing that even makes sense. That what "real" stores do. At the Goodwill in Nashville they separated clothing by color, which I thought was the dumbest idea EVER.
So much cute stuff! I love the "long john" tops, and the daisy dress and the butterfly sweatshirt! (also is it just me or are some of the butterflies actually moths lol)
The orange shein dress is defo my fave!! It looks amazing on you 🥰 I don't have much luck when out thrifting but I have found some lovely things, I'd probably say my best find was a stella & dot statement necklace with a rrp of £160, the lady had never worn it as it wasn't her style & sold it to me for £20!! Its so pretty, beauty is in the eye of the beholder....
I would LOVE if you started looking at the manufacture dates on some of the bigger brands. The vast majority of modern brands will print the manufacture date (usually about 6ish months before the release) on one of the joker tags on the side seams. I would've loved to know how old that merona skirt was!!
It would cool if you did a “dressing my boyfriend with thrifted clothes” or if you and drew did a couples challenge with styling each other from the thrift store.
Both!!!

LOL i was like wait, thats the hair dude! haha
THANK YOU I knew he looked familiar
I had 90s flashbacks when I saw him lol
THIS IS WHY I CAME TO THE COMMENTS I knew I recognized him!!!

Yes. Highly agree.
When your watching Sierra's new vlog and right in the last minute a notification for a new Carrie video appears, it is the best day ever ❤️👌😊
I saw exactly the same thing!

And then Lisa Schwartz vlog appeared… the holy trinity of vlog gals

No bigby, if you will 😂
I was thinking under a blazer or cardigan would work too.
@@emilymelcher6877 😂 i had the same thought immediately
I love this style of video where you show your shop then sit down and talk about each piece then cut to you with it on. Super entertaining and cool.
Would love to see a Red Taylor’s Version look book, with outfits that match the vibe of the album!! 😍😍 love you and your videos!!!
I say you should thrift whatever you like! I often thrift brands I wouldn't buy because it's not like the brand is getting money for it NOW
That orange maxi would be KILLER with white docs! Love! Also Biggby is definitely in the Midwest but I’ve never tried it. It’s still kinda cute! 🤷♀️
I have to tell you, I am going through it today. Like it's been rough, and watching this video gave me fifteen minutes to breathe more easily. Thank you for giving me a short break from my anxiety.
