My architect is recommending Corian sink. The pros she says are 1 . Will be seamless and we can adjust the size of the sink according to our needs. 2. While it is not scratch resistant it is better to use white since the scratches will not be visible.The scratches can be easily removed . 3. Since it is not a natural stone it is non porous and can be cleaned easily. You had mentioned that it is not heat resistant . If that is the case how can it be used for kitchen counter top? . Will definitely not be as heat resistant as granite. Thanks for the info you have put out.
Hi, Thanks for asking. Agree with point it will be seamless and cannot compare the look with other materials. but cannot withstand rough usage like granite. The corean stone that is not heat resistant means you cannot drop vessels directly from gas stove to stone so you need to be cautious to have heat resistant mats on the stone. I am not sure on removing scratches and how easily this can be done. Thanks for watching.
