Southbank was the original site of World Expo 88 and has since become Brisbane's number 1 tourist and family destination. From manmade beaches, swimming lagoons, BBQ and Picnic areas, playgrounds and more. There is plenty to see and do whilst visiting Southbank.
This is NOT my usual style of travel vlog - in this episode I take you on a walk around Southbank Parkland Brisbane. This may bring back memories for fellow Brisbanian's now living overseas or help those planning to visit my city with what to see and do during their stay.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this walk around Southbank with you and from the comfort of air-conditioning; so glad not to be out in the heat. Southbank is such a beautiful parkland with so many areas of interest and beauty. Brisbane has so many gorgeous parks and walking areas. Love the video. Thank you. 😊

Thanks for watching! Yes be sure to visit Southbank when in Brisbane. On Friday & Saturday nights they also have the markets on too and Southbank hosts various event through the year including Riverfire (a fireworks show usually the last weekend in September) and special Christmas & NYE celebrations.

When you mentioned a dinosaur, I thought you were gonna show the crocodile in the maritime museum. I was walking across Goodwill Bridge once and the person I was with asked me if the crocodile was real.
