I love the public transport in Brisbane (and Queensland more broadly). For all the talk online about Japan's IC, the Queensland IC is better, in my opinion, since it has no limitations and can get you from Coolangatta all the way to Cairns.
@@TravelKiwi fyi if you come back and do end up trying the citycat. Because we run a zonal fare system you can travel for around 2 hours on the river for one fare. Say around $5 so an absolute bargain. Though currently they’ve reduced all fares to 50 cents for 6 months so even crazier value ha ha
5:04 That river cruise is a rip off. You can go up and down the river in the public CityCat ferries for a fraction of the price while the smaller KittyKat ferries are free (but go less distance)
hello! thanks for the comment and opinion. We choose this cruise so we could learn about what we were seeing along the way especially beacuse we dont know Brisbane and it gave us ideas for things to do which was great! :)

Hot Tip! For about $7 you could just jump on a City Cat Ferry and do the same thing ;)
