Thanks for the video! For their first coloring medium, I highly recommend a set of watercolor pencils and the blender pens. They can start coloring for less than $30 US. Once they gain confidence, I teach them how to use the water painters with ink pads or refills. Then we'll move to blends. I really appreciate your videos!

Am I correct in saying the mememto ink should be used for water colors? I apparently use to much water as my images are mostly muddy looking...paper can pil up and just not pretty! I’m practicing
I use the stampin write markers a LOT. The best thing I do when wanting to do the ombre effect with the same color tones on a stamp is to color the entire stamp with the lightest color. When I do that I don't have nearly as much problems with a place that has no color or having hard stops. I also use the blender pens with the stampin write markers when I'm coloring an image. I use the markers on a little bit of an image and then use the blender pens to pull the color to the rest of the image to get that two tone effect that the blender pens do. When I use the blender pens with the markers it makes the image look like I have water colored the image and I haven't had to worry about too much water on a regular paper v/s water color paper. Thanks for showing all the different options, I know all the ways you showed but I have been working with some sort of color on and off most of my life so I figured out or watched videos to make sure I knew how each type of marker/blender/pencil etc that stampin up uses.

Yes that’s a very good point! In small images it’s ok - but you do need to be careful. I’ll pop that info into the video.
