    This is like having friends or sisters teaching how to make something, no audience no silly catch phrases. We really appreciate these tutorials. Happy holidays.

      Yes, it’s nice to,watch videos without the silly catch phrases and overly demonstrative personality characteristics and other antics.

    Oh my gosh, what darling little cookies. I'm going to a New years eve party and I am going to attempt to make these. Better yet, make some and send them to me. 😀 It looks like cutting them perfectly would be the hardest part. Looking forward to making these. I love your videos.

    They look delicious! Speaking of Italian cookies, I’d love to see you do amaretti! They are my favorite cookie and I’d love to try making them. 😁

    I bet those would also be good with a caramel filling.

    Looks easy…I can make them. Would be lovely in a glass covered container.

    Looks like a winner to me! Would hazelnut flour combined with the all purpose flour work with this recipe? Certainly won’t have the same flavor notes but without a food processor I wonder how to get a close approximation of this cookie

    OK, I've toasted and skinned hazelnuts before, and I have to ask--how do you keep from eating all of them before you make the recipe?

    What kind(s) of flour can you use as a substitue to make them gluten-free?

  • @DarinMcGrew
    @DarinMcGrew ปีที่แล้ว +5

    Is there a reason not to use a piping bag for the melted chocolate? Measuring each portion with a quarter teaspoon seems unnecessarily tedious.

    • @aqnaqnaqn
      @aqnaqnaqn ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That's what I was thinking. For filling 32 cookies, the mess of filling the bag and washing up afterwards would be worth it.
      And perhaps one can periodically zap the whole bag in the microwave on low power to keep the chocolate loose enough for piping.

    I use a tiny ball scooper. The kind you use for chocolates.

    The cookies look great but what cookbook features the recipe?

    • @callison2138
      @callison2138 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The Perfect Cookie cookbook. Yep, I found it but the square pan method of cutting the cookies is easier than the strips in the book.

    I am celiac. These look really yummy. They would probably be really easy to make gluten free. Instead of chocolate, I think putting Nutella in the middle would be fitting.

    • @charlottekearn5185
      @charlottekearn5185 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was thinking the same about Nutella, actually I thought that's what they would use. Either way, those little guys look delicious.

      @@captainamericaamerica8090 The way you said it it was kinda rude. Response in all capital letters and the words " smarten up "at the end, it was meant to be negative. With that being said it is junk with all the crap they put into our food. Sadly only about 10% if even that on our shelves should not be eaten. But I do eat stuff occasionally that's not the best. Merry Christmas

    Here's a stupid question: I have dry roasted hazelnuts. Do I still need to "toast" them as per the instructions or is this toasting instructions only for raw hazelnuts?

    • @mahaart3358
      @mahaart3358 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You can use them of course! Just give them a little heat, so put them in the oven for a couple minutes for refreshments, and give more taste while grinding 👌
