Same not working. I do not have duplicates in my list. I added a few and still did not work. Copied formula exactly and all steps.. I did not do the Data Validation which should not matter..

If you are using Excel 365 version, You can apply FILTER function based on your scenario.

Can the countif function work the same way if the column had numbers instead of text?
