Hi, I've been playing Voidigo everyday for the past 400 years! Here is a 1,000 paragraph book on everything you need to know! These are the BASICS (mostly) of Voidigo, and should hopefully minimize big exciting spoilers while offering a good overview of important, boring mechanics. I hope this is helpful in even a small capacity. Non-Combat Tips: - There are exactly two fully safe areas in each world: The starting area, and the shop area. If you need to catch your breath, you can use these, and they serve as refuges from bosses if you need to calm your nerves. [Trust me, you will need to do that sometimes, this game is insane.] - Shimmering Objects can be dashed through to break them, which is the best way to do so. It lets you quickly and ammolessly collect all the shards; If you want precision, just use right click actions, as those don't [usually] consume any durability on weapons. - Collect shards quickly! They'll decay over time, making them near-worthless. Shards stuck in Shimmering Objects don't decay until you break the object, so don't worry too hard on those, but shards from enemies are another story. - In between every world, you'll end up in the Antivoid, with three interactable objects. These will range from that Item-To-Max HP converter you found, to the thing that just eats all of your shards until it explodes. You might want to save your crappy weapons for these areas rather than letting them get recycled in the in-stage recyclers, as the trades can often be much better. - Weapons, in general, are great trading tokens because you can only hold two. If you're only using one weapon, always carry a second crappy one just in case you come across a trade receptacle or upgrade spot! If you want to conserve a weapon for later, drop it on the ground in favor of something worse so it doesn't show up in trades! This can net you much more upgrades in the long run. This includes going into the shop! Combat Tips: - That chest guy that ran into you is essentially walking loot. If you hear his little audio cue, you'll want to find and stomp on him ASAP. Stomping him twice will give you a bunch of free stuff. He tends to reappear in other rooms even if you miss him, so don't despair if you just get bonked by him instead. - Bosses are the main points of Voidigo, and as such combating them best is important! Paying attention to them is more important than other enemies as they tend to do much more damage than the mooks. [Don't neglect your peripheral vision, though] - If you want to temporarily disable a small enemy, just stomp it and it'll stay down for a bit while you shoot all their friends. This is very nice to do! - Most big enemies don't get toppled in this way, and will continue acting while you hop on them. Be careful when stomping on them, as even though you have I-frames in the air, your landing is vulnerable. This includes bosses, obviously. - Stomps are, however, great for delaying your landing if you're in a tight spot already, and can be lifesavers against bullet swarms - Especially if you can do combo-stomps, as keeping them up long enough can basically make you invulnerable until you mess up or your target dies. Knockback can also mess up your combos, so be careful, as each stomp will naturally cause a bit of that. Item/Weapon Tips: - Rarity ascends as follows: Green, Blue, Purple, Gold. Gold is the best rarity you can get, but don't underestimate lower ranks either! You can be surprised by blues being just as competent as golds in combat sometimes - Try every weapon! This is probably a given, but I've had multiple weapons that I just went 'eh, that feels bad' to, to later find that I was missing a vital cracked component of it. Make sure you use every action possible, every part of every combo, reloads, blocking, etc. Many weapons have traits that really aren't obvious on first go-around! - Many items apply to either Melee or Ranged, but many more items can also mix the lines a bit. In general, 'Reload' items only apply to guns, and the 'Attack Speed' and 'Durability' items work exclusively on whichever type they say. However, some Melee have bullets, some Guns have melee, and some items can give more to either end. (Like the rumble ray you picked up, which works with bullet synergies). Don't over-spec into one side or the other, unless you're absolutely certain that you want to use THIS specific weapon [usually a gold quality weapon]. - Since you have many opportunities to trade items in Voidigo, you can usually re-spec or recycle some of your less useful items in the scenario described above. Pick up Everything! - Bosses can't come into areas without Beacons. In a pinch, use them as safe(r) places, too! Combat House Tips: - Houses are MEGA IMPORTANT. They're your main source of free items and stuff. - If you lose a challenge you signed up for, you go down to 0.1 HP, no matter how much you had. If you're not confident in a challenge, STEER CLEAR!! [unless you're already at like negative bazillion HP i guess] - Even if you lose a challenge, you still get the chest of the room, though not the displayed item at the start. - Challenges that simply mention an enemy type CANNOT be failed unless you just straight up die - You can go into these houses even during outside combat! You can sometimes use them as cheeky escape routes from nasty boss attacks. - Certain houses might be smaller. These don't count towards the main house count for the world, and usually just have small machines like recyclers and shard-jar shops. These will break when you leave them, so only go into them if you think you wanna buy stuff or recycle a weapon. - Every world will contain one more 'house' than the last one, up to 3 whole houses. This EXCLUDES the final boss arena, and shops won't be there, either! Shop Tips: - It's very important to buy only what you need or really want, as shards are used in many, MANY places. Prioritize Passives, too, as you could just find a good weapon around the corner. - Buying a good weapon earlygame can be a significant help if you didn't get anything good, and is an exception to the above 'rule' because otherwise you might just Die - The Ghost Mama hangs out outside shops sometimes. Accepting her quest will give you 3-5 baskets that you need to fill with the health ghosts. This PREVENTS YOU FROM HEALING, so be careful! However, the reward will heal you up and then some, so if you're confident or have a bunch of health pots lying around, go for it! You are now prepared, partially, to lose your mind. Best of luck!
Dude, the animations are so springy I love it. It looks like EtG but with breakable walls and other fun quirks, this looks awesome. Although I struggle enough with Gungeon
Do love to see a return to a game as it receives new updates. Finally had the piece of mind to hit the bell so I don't end up missing anything, otherwise I'll miss little gems like this
I have subscribed! I thought I was already, but I was just watching your videos as they entered my algorithm and I was like what the heck! give this man this subscribe!! Great videos
i loved playing blazing beaks with my friend the only 2 games that come really close are atomicrops and voidigo and i loved the keep going olexa bc we all enjoy your calm content alot.
One other thing that the long comment hasn't told, is that the machine you saw that said one max hp for 80 shards is actually great value. Since you can easily get it before going to a new level thus not risking the current level and might even find a max hp up in the in-between levels zone.
I bought it, loaded it, played 10 min, saw the metaprogression screen, and refunded it and ended my video. Just don’t think that one’s gonna be for me, didn’t find it very fun
Isaac Spelunky Slay the Spire Rocket League Spelunky 2 Tabletop Simulator PUBG Revita Enter the Gungeon Luck be a Landlord There’s a few others but they’re because I accidentally left the game open for like a week lmao

Love the tips, great work!
Did you get here 2 hours after the video was released or did it take 2 hours to write?
oh my God
Let's goooooo Olexa returns to Voidigo, it's a blessed day for us all
Man! This game's art style is a treat to the eyes!
Dude, the animations are so springy I love it. It looks like EtG but with breakable walls and other fun quirks, this looks awesome. Although I struggle enough with Gungeon
I've wanted you to play this for years, I'm so glad that you can finally try it out again now that it's got a full lunch
Oh my god, what a visually smooth & appealing game. Everything just clicks correctly.
Do love to see a return to a game as it receives new updates. Finally had the piece of mind to hit the bell so I don't end up missing anything, otherwise I'll miss little gems like this
remember asking you to play this about a month or so back, knew it would happen 🙏🏽 good vid
Yessss. I've seen so many series and no one plays long I'm so stoked.
I have subscribed! I thought I was already, but I was just watching your videos as they entered my algorithm and I was like what the heck! give this man this subscribe!! Great videos
aaay super happy to see you play this, its a solid game
There's one more top-down rogue like where you play as a bird
You forgot nuclear throne
Ah shoot you’re so right
@@OlexaYTmissed my opportunity to write Olexa bad, I gotta quit TH-cam now.
@chaoticenergy8832 you snooze you loose brother
Atomicrops also has a bird character
Such a Looney Tunes chaotic energy! And yet, it has restraint in mechanics : Stomp, melee and shoot. I quite like it!
lol the fact that I manage to find 2 new Let's players both names Tyler on the same day is nutty...
i loved playing blazing beaks with my friend the only 2 games that come really close are atomicrops and voidigo and i loved the keep going olexa bc we all enjoy your calm content alot.
*edit ofc gungeon and nuclear throne are also close
The Banana Splat animation has the same energy as Divine from Hollow Knight
More of this please dear Olenky! Thank you!
one of the best rougelikes
Nuclear Throne! Top-down shooter rougelike where you can play as a bird!
That banana gun had a wild animation lmao
Fycking LOVE this game and your commentary, more pls pls
"You know I can count on my fingers... only... two..." ouch man, I hope it's not because you have two fingers.
0:11: And the third is Nuclear Throne (although the Chicken would rather turn it into a hack-and-slash)
My only tip is you need to jump a lot to evade, instead of just trying to move out of the path, since in the air you have i-frames
great tip ty

Nuclear Throne also lets you play as a bird.
"top down roguelikes playing as a bird" chicken nuclear throne
Let’s go ,my favours TH-camr is playing one of my favourite games!!!!!
i dont think i counted 3 seconds without *words* on the video
Yup, that’s typically how commentary works
Today we fight the void
Already feeling a new series!!
i don't know if you realized it but you can bounce on the heads of enemies
I *juuust* picked this game up and played the tutorial. It’s so cool!!!
I was hoping you'd go back to this
Finaly i almost forgoten about this game❤
More of this game please
More today!
8:42 (Tyler) the void (me) rains upon her heart
Oh I know this game !
Very fun
Animations are pretty clean.
Death door is another one.
Rat kings are a real thing that happens and they are very much harmed
you can play as a bird in nuclear throne too!!!
i love voidigo!
My man, u should try doomsday hunters. Really polished game with satisfying gameplay and some crazy stuff going on.
I bought it, loaded it, played 10 min, saw the metaprogression screen, and refunded it and ended my video. Just don’t think that one’s gonna be for me, didn’t find it very fun
Id be so curious on what olexas ten highest hours played on steam are
Isaac
Spelunky
Slay the Spire
Rocket League
Spelunky 2
Tabletop Simulator
PUBG
Revita
Enter the Gungeon
Luck be a Landlord
There’s a few others but they’re because I accidentally left the game open for like a week lmao
Your actually just the best
no u
pubg is not what i expected LOL
I’m not proud of my decisions I’ve made in the past
Lemme guess. He probably didn't get that some of the pickups were upgrades at all, during the whole video. Now let's see it.
That was a very chaotic journey, I believe our god gamer shall prevail next episode
Nice
ight i gotta say, that tutorial could be substituted by normal gameplay.
Honestly I think this game has the best tutorial I’ve done in years. There’s a lot of complex mechanics in this game
deaths door
you sound like you are saying Vertigo with a new york accent... voidigo.... lol
hey olexa wanna do co-op on this ? :P
Nope lol
@@OlexaYT😭
Do you Watch northernlion? You kinda have the same habits and way of talking
Looks like cheap clone of Nuclear throne
They couldn’t play more different if I’m honest
you should replay atomicrops, its a farm shooting bullethell-ish roguelite game i think youll like it
I didn’t enjoy it much when I played it in the past if I’m honest. But that was when it was still in early early access
Brother I’ve literally played over 300 games on my TH-cam channel. I’m allowed to have some I enjoy more than others lol
@@OlexaYT i played the latest version and it's pretty fun, they changed a lot of things
@@screwloose42 🤓☝️
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ dunno what to tell you, I’m not gonna sit here and go “Yeah I love that game!” if I don’t have fun playing it
This is not a roguelike. Roguelikes are specifically procedural, turn based, permadeath dungeon crawlers. You know, like Rogue.
Oh here we go again
