There’s a 65 year old black guy from florida named Tony Conyers and he’s been competing natural (tested) powerlifting since 1982 and he’s still doing it and winning I remember when he was 58 at a weight of 148lbs not kilos but pounds he squatted 608lbs. The closest thing I have seen to super man. Imagine lifting like that for 40 years at a top level. Look him up he always has a bible with him.
Guys the easiest way to convert from kg to lbs is multiply by 2 then increase by 10%. This method works up to 240kg then you have to add 1 lb extra per 240kg.
Is he lean though? There are naturals with good genetics with that kind of size who aren't that lean. Literally like the exact same physique with a shirt on, but they aren't that lean. I can't tell if he's lean either. I have never seen him without a shirt to see if he is. Plus he's only 44, which is like nothing. I hate when people act like they should be losing strength by that age. A good athlete should lose almost nothing by 44, hell many are hitting PR's at 44. I know Mike Ohearn was hitting PR's in his 50's. Nothing against him, just an observation, and I think everything I said is accurate.

Larry has made tremendous progress on his overall physique. He is looking rounder, fuller, bigger and conditioned at his weight than he was back then and i would say that he looks bigger at 265 than he did at his former 285 lbs weight. I've recently got hurt with a tricep tear and elbow break plus shoulder surgery the year prior and my Supraspinatus is still detached. So i know how Ryan feels losing strength. Great video as always.

I hope you recover soon and resume doing what you love at full strength. I just have one question- why do folks use a mindlessly dumb unit of weight measure lbs when we have much more meaningful and in superior in all dimensions KGs?
@AmanKumar-wh8tk I guess it's because it's been changed since the early 80's. It used to be in kgs back in the day then went to lbs. It's like the speed measurement; it used to be in miles many years ago in the mid 70's (im born in 1970 so I remember this) then it switched to km per hours

I feel like his janitor jump suit gives him extra power 😂
41:36 - Larry being Larry 😂
Cheers guys! 👍🤝💪
I am pretty new to your channel but have heard of u I can't get enough of your laugh its literally a strong man laugh
This video is absolutely insane how the heck is he that strong?!?! His nervous system is OP.
Roids!!!
@@wildmartesanachannel7792 Nah, you don't need roids for extreme bicep strength, believe me I know.
y’all can say juice, maybe he does use it but it’s hard to be so light and lift heavy ass weights. his CNS is truly strong
hed be looking waaay different roided😂
There’s a 65 year old black guy from florida named Tony Conyers and he’s been competing natural (tested) powerlifting since 1982 and he’s still doing it and winning I remember when he was 58 at a weight of 148lbs not kilos but pounds he squatted 608lbs. The closest thing I have seen to super man. Imagine lifting like that for 40 years at a top level. Look him up he always has a bible with him.
Now we are talking POWER!!! 😂😂😂
But Larry never Slaped the guy, he moved and Larry has just gazed him. He should have done it again.
definitely anatoly with magnus would be a sick video!
Dude is like 0% body fat...pure muscle. Pound for pound gotta be strongest human on earth 🌎
He literally said there's dudes in his gym that out lift him and weigh 10kg less than him. He's close but not the strongest.
@@Vancev99xHes not relaly close. Hes still a very impressive lifter but jot close
@Tom-vu1wr true there are 8 billion out there. 😅
Amazing Content ❤ love you both 😊
My man larry built like Jiren from dragon ball 🔥🔥
No gear in Dragon Ball's world. Larry is sweating gear juice.
45:16 Vladimir in the back goes "I like this chandelier, it's nice" lmao
Guys the easiest way to convert from kg to lbs is multiply by 2 then increase by 10%. This method works up to 240kg then you have to add 1 lb extra per 240kg.
The slap contest looks like the quickest way to damage the brain.
Waiting for Anatoly Gym Prank at Larry's Gym 😂😂
As Lee Haney said “ it’s the quality of the lift not the quantity of the weight”.
A lot of those lifts were ego lifts.
Anatoly is a humble guy 🥰
Larry, you are enjoying seeing yourself. Be humble like Anatoly.
Coach looking big damn
Is he lean though? There are naturals with good genetics with that kind of size who aren't that lean. Literally like the exact same physique with a shirt on, but they aren't that lean. I can't tell if he's lean either. I have never seen him without a shirt to see if he is. Plus he's only 44, which is like nothing. I hate when people act like they should be losing strength by that age. A good athlete should lose almost nothing by 44, hell many are hitting PR's at 44. I know Mike Ohearn was hitting PR's in his 50's. Nothing against him, just an observation, and I think everything I said is accurate.
@@billj45258ball?
@@billj4525 no one natural is hitting Pr's at 44 , ill be 44 in a few months. On gear , people can hit PR's at 80 obviously.

Larry has made tremendous progress on his overall physique. He is looking rounder, fuller, bigger and conditioned at his weight than he was back then and i would say that he looks bigger at 265 than he did at his former 285 lbs weight. Anatole is one hell of a freak of nature; fast twitch muscles all day on this kid. Even coach Benson has an insane physique and strong arms. I know Ryan is getting older and he might be past his best but he is stil strong despite injuries.I'm 53 was still benching high 350's until i had a recentwork accident(torn tricep, bone break as well as tendon torn at 1 5 cm. Underwent surgery 3 months ago. I used to max 455 lbs at 33 years old and also benched 405 lbs in 2020 at age almost 50 at 210 lbs bw(not many has done this at my age) . I've recently got hurt with a tricep tear and elbow break plus shoulder surgery the year prior and my Supraspinatus is still detached. So i know how Ryan feels losing strength. Great video as always.
I also know how it feels. Just have to keep enjoying. All the best to you

@@jfandjanicegrenier3402 lol no sir, it was a rhetorical question (apologies for that.) kg and kmph are units of metric system (developed in France), which ideally should be the only unit of measure to be followed across the globe. But, alas the Americans. Gallons, ounces, miles, pounds (lbs, british), feet, 3 baseballs, four fingers, 2 weiners and god knows what, they would use every piece of crap other than what ought to be used, I just don't know why!
