  • In about 1 in 4 ischemic strokes, the root cause is still unknown after testing. That’s when it’s important to dig deeper for a definitive diagnosis. Collaboration by neurologists, cardiologists, electrophysiologists and other integral team members may reveal the answers needed to provide targeted treatment for preventing recurrent strokes. I understand it's been happening to me. The 1st time I was overseas . I had gone back to my country after being away for 23 years. I considered myself reasonably fit. 3 weeks in I found it difficult to walk up stairs without holding on. Then I began to realize my balance while walking way slightly off. 2 days later I went to the public 🏥 hospital and asked them to text me for TIA symptoms., Only to be told they didn't have the capability. Covid 19 restrictions were on. I came back weeks later walking s little better and did a battery of test. I was diagnosed to have had a TIA.
Since then my walking and gait has proved. But I blacked out suddenly and came back on 5 minutes. All this happened while I was having a convention

@@NorrisLee1 yep. when no explanation fits, it is deemed a cryptogenic stroke.. it is a bullshit term. why give a fancy name and legitimacy, as if you explained anything, when you can say "stroke of unknown cause".
