@@BlueEyedRider84 One additional comment, I wanted to post the appreciation for the videos but, also in one of your videos a person commented on the "music" you had with the video and surely needed your content but, made such a rude comment. Hard to believe when you have taken the time to provide these helpful videos. Just wanted to encourage you.
Going for a ride in the morning.... :)

Thank you! It's for people like you that I spend my free time making these videos. I could get projects done on my bike a lot faster if I wasn't trying to make content to help others, but I like to share and help. So I really appreciate it. Thanks!

Hello, great video! I got a question regarding installing the Quad Lock 12v to usb smart adaptor, where would you feed the cable from the front of the gas tank to the battery??

Under the tank. Undo the front two bolts and lift up slightly and you should be able to run the wire under there without it getting in the way of anything. Let me know if you have any issues.

I pick up my brand new 1000sx at the weekend. Do you HAVE to remove the faring to fit engine covers as looks awfully fiddly?

Congrats! I'm sure you'll love it!
Depends on what kind you get. Some bolt on in places under the fairing so you have to remove them. Others just slap on over the engine but they usually aren't as good. Removing the fairing isn't difficult if you have patience and keep track of the parts

@BlueEyedRider84 Thanks buddy. Reviewed the 1000sx just over a year ago. Spent a day on it and loved it.

Thanks for making this video! Will the lower non-painted plastic piece separate from the upper painted piece that has the turn signal cut out? The parts diagram has a confusing perspective so figured I’d ask.

Ok, so I'm 2000 miles away right now lol, but if memory serves me correctly, yes, the pieces separate. However, if you can wait a week, I will make sure of that

@@BlueEyedRider84 Appreciate you commenting while away! After referring to the service manual (much clearer parts diagram), they do separate and are held together with standard reusable screws. I just couldn’t remember based on the last time I had them apart.
