    Thanks for sharing, great little machine apart from it requires the use of a chain saw.

      The great thing is that you can remove the chainsaw to lop up logs and then put it back on very easily

      I think on the Wallenstein website it's under 14k plus delivery, but they do not sell direct. You'd definitely want to check with a dealer in your neck of the woods!

    Not much prettier country than snohomish County towards the foothills.

    Not so awesome!
    The winch is way underpowered.
    When the splitter pushed the wood through, those two pieces of split wood under the wedge, slide back down and constantly having to move them by hand. Which is probably not the safest thing to do while the machine is running.
    Definitely overpriced for what it is.
    No where’s near 1 cord per hour as advertised.
    The only major improvement that was made was to move the tongue around to the other end, used to have to move the pile of split wood to get to it.

      A Japa machine looks like it would be a better option than this. Kinda Mickey Mouse contraption.

      If you're a one man show, perhaps this combo machine has some appeal, but my brother and I can saw and split faster than this with a $400 chainsaw and.a $1000 splitter.
      Ya, my back will hurt more afterwards but I don't feel like this $14k machine is worth it

      @EagleLakeWoodworking what's a back surgery cost these days? 😄
