Finally, exactly the video I was looking for, you're totally rad player Brah, ripping up a storm. Excellent sounding amp. Seems to suit what I'm looking for. Many thanks!
Thank you very much for this video!!! I'm only interested in clean and crunch sounds (maybe a little more but not too much) and I think that for playing blues/rock it's a very good option for the price they cost (also only 17kg...) Another one that I was looking at (I come from 100 and 50W amps... not anymore) is the junior blues but I'm not entirely convinced. It makes me want to keep insisting with bigger amps haha
Awesome demo. Love hearing it with different guitars too. Shows off the versatility. Any answer to the small gig question yet? I have a loud drummer, soon just checking if i need the 40w. I heard that the 40w is not really a bedroom amp though
I Met Johnny in the toilet of a hotel in Frankfurt when working for Fender at the show there! Thanks for the compliment. Absolutely this could be used for a live gig, there’s enough volume when mic!d to hold its own against all but the loudest of drummers.
Nice. If i had been able to get this amp to sound like this in my brief shop test, i might have bought it.... It sounded like dry poo for me, just like it the original Sweetwater demo. Weird. Nice job, sir.
I've had it in the studio on 1/4 power. I'll crank it up next week on full power and see how it goes!! I've gigged with a 6 piece band with 15 watt amps for years. Depends how loud the drummer is....You know drummers.
so do you think that this is overall louder than a Fender Blues Junior when playing clean with little overdrive on it? No pedals in the tradition of Edward. I've been hesitant on getting this amp since it has a 10" speaker. I wanted something light to tote to jams. I have the larger one, the 40 watt one with one 12" that's like 55 pounds. Too much to lug in a hurry to get to the bandstand. I am 68 and have some lifting issues. What do you think Damon? Nice demos.
Hi there. I would say that it’s easily as loud as a blues jnr, and with the 1/4 power switch allows you to get hi gain sounds at low volume. The 10” speaker seems fine to me, and even keeps the bottom end well defined. There is no lack of bottom as the resonance control adds the thump you would expect with a bigger cab.
Great job….thanks for showing the versatility!✌️
Its all in the design and R&D!!! Thanks James.
Glad I found your channel. You seem to be the only one doing this amp justice.
Thanks dude!!! It’s a great amp

Just ordered one. Got to give it a try
Glad to hear it🎸🎶
I really like EVH gear! Thanks for the video!
Sweet sounds! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks dude! Full demo coming this week mate.
Superb job sounds great
😁😁😁😁😁
Nothing much wrong with those tones. Looking forward to the in depth review and opinion.
Thanks Paul. Looking forward to a deeper dive.

It’s really very good clean and crunchy.

No, it’s a loud amp Steve. Does have the 1/4 power switch though a,d emulated speaker out.
Awesome thanks dude. I'll stick with the 15 then 👍
Nice playing btw. Forgot to say
You’re a great player man
Duuuude! Thank you so much. Means a lot mate👍🏻
Sounds great. How loud dose it get. loud enough to play with drums?
Wow. Great playing and great sounding amp. How does it sound at really low volumes? I.e. could i get away with playing it at 11pm down really low?
Absolutely. Sounds amazing cranked, as it's class A. But really sounds lovley quiet as well.
I’m considering one of these for just home use! How do you find the noise gate?
it's pretty good. perfect for use at home .
Can you get a social distortion like tone out of this?
*Nice demo Damon you sound a little bit like Johnny Hyland. Question: Do you think this amp can be used for live gigs?*

Ha! I’ll take that as a weird kind on compliment!! Thanks for watching
Excellent job did you prefer the 15 or the 40 ?
15…..class A chime won the day!!!
Nice! What kind of volume does it push? Do you think you could gig with it at a medium venue or outdoors?
I've had it in the studio on 1/4 power. I'll crank it up next week on full power and see how it goes!! I've gigged with a 6 piece band with 15 watt amps for years. Depends how loud the drummer is....You know drummers.
@@damonthegnomeoftonechivers Looking forward to the volume test.
Interesting. The distortion was awesome but the clean tones sounded a little thin and flat. Maybe it's just the way you set the tone controls?
I don't think so. Maybe how it was mic'd?

@@damonthegnomeoftonechivers Thank you sir for your reply. Keep up the great work on these demos You are doing the guitar community a great service!
@@MarshallAmpMan you are very kind mate, thank you. Full demo of this amp coming very soon.
Would it be better to buy this for home use, or the 40 watt combo, and just use the 10 watt setting?
I’d go for this one. Single power tube, turned up always sounds better than a louder amp turned down.
15 watts and 10" is somewhat of a sweetspot it seems to me.
This or the DSL20? I play DIO and Metallica. TIA
This has more gain and bottom end, with the resonance control, makes it sound like a 4X12"
@@damonthegnomeoftonechivers thank you !ordered and it will arrived in 2 days!
Impedance using just the amp?? thanks!!
Did you get rid of the Iconic 40?
No. I still have that.
@@damonthegnomeoftonechivers cool, still loving mine :) Great playing!!
@@Smart-Alex I have it in my studio! IT’s very useful, clean and dirty
Show the settings!!!!!!!
this all you need unless you're playing arenas.
Absolutely dude!!
