Sir im getting cvts at a lot of good places like narayana hrudalaya , medanata , appollo jubilee hills !! Looks glamorous from the outset but when i go on reqding about the outcomes after 6 years dnb there is hardly anything most of the people are not getting enough money/ opportunities as the cases are done by cardiologists / interventional radiologists !! Kindly throw some light as the counselling is about to begin

Hello sir , i am really thinking to opt for pediatric surgery this year .
My query is i hearing alot of things like it is not a satisfactory branch , patient outcome is not really well n most of the general cases like hernia etc are usually operated by general surgeons so end up having mostly neonatal cases which dosent really have a good outcome as of now , it is dead branch in future . I mean lot of negativity around it . So it will be a great help if you put out some information. Also things like gender bias and doing 6 year DNB from private set up and if any set back of that .
Sir please please do respond .

There is absolutely no need for negativity regarding pediatric surgery. It's a great branch. Yes. Initial job opportunities might be a bit tricky compared to GI or Onco. But overall opportunities are excellent
