Neurosurgeons require world class amenities to practice their craft and such hospitals are few in India and they are already overstaffed with good people.

It's not the real salary after mch neurosurgery consultant even with experience in any top private hospital. It's only possible for own successful business set up.
In A tier cities anywhere from 2-4 lacs per month, and in B or C tier cities you can get 5-8 lacs. This is just an approximate idea for freshers, then it entirely depends on your skills and patient load

Seats have largely remained vacant since this branch is very stressful, you have to be on your toes all the time. It is one of the highest paying branches, because it is the most demanding one 😊
@@brainiacs_sgrh8340 People are ready to face stress to earn loads of money. If stress is the only reason, then such huge vacant seats wouldn't exist. Neurosurgeons require world class amenities to practice their craft and such hospitals are few in India and they are already overstaffed with good people.
You can start your own hospital especially in a B or C tier city and gradually equip it. Obviously it will require investment, but will definitely have returns.

Depends on place to place. Earnings will be pretty high in a B tier city with good patient load. Can easily earn upwards of 30-50 lakh
