Wizardspike was pretty good too, a pair of them gives 30% mana pool and 30% mana regen, 100% FCR, and 150% all resists, and 4 mana per clvl. they are pretty cheap to trade for too.
Always loved this build, especially back before d2r for pvp, double hoto and enigma tele onto someone and yell them to death and they can’t move from the stun, so fun
I have played this game since launch and I learned potions could crit today. I guess I have noticed the interaction but I literally just thought maybe I was chugging potions too fast

I built a pvp version on a private realm called asgard. It really rocks. It was a bm build utulizing stuff like doom for Hf aura, marrowwalk boots for prison, max block on one side, and hoto + doom other side. Eth reapers merc etc. Ofc on that realm i had both wiz gloves and bug belt, along with 15life/70man scs. But on d2r wsg does not work, Uninteruptible skills are not Uninteruptible... So singer barb should easy be meta, even as gm. Merc: Eth reapers 'ber or 15ias/add'' Duress Guilaume 'cham' (i also messed around with coa/slow% blackhorns etc) Vs ubers u might want a lt wand, and merc to use obediance or smt. Urself: Helm: 2barb/20fcr/2soc/adds (hopefully some mana) chamLo or shaelLo or BerLo it. Armor: enigma Gloves: magefist(fcr and mana regen) Ammu: 2barb/15fcr/mana/@ Ring: 10fcr/mana/stats/res Ring 2: soj/wisp/bk/dwarf Boots: shadows(fhr/dex/frw) // marrowwalk (prison/dex/str/frw) // hotspurs(fire abs) Belt: dungo // arach // tg Wep 1: Hoto 40@ + doom (crowd control/slow) // spirit Wep 2: Hoto + stormshield(eld or shael or Lo or smt) U can also have a passion to cast wolves and jump hammerdin easier. Great video! I used to use one point Berzerk with a big CB weapon on switch for bosses, but with the Sunder charm can go through any content. I have twice saved my friends on the Ubers when they had too many mobs and I just stunned everything so my friend could 1-v-1. Must admit is TERRIBLE against bosses, but I'm always trying to make it work.
I remember back then I had a singing barb with 2 x wizardspikes. But at Hell Act1 problems started :P Now I play offline and GL finding the items I need to test builds :(

I'm literally just trying to put together the strongest build for leveling from multiple people's guides.. then when I get to hell and farm I can decide what end game spec I would like to play the most, zerker/sing/throw/ww/frenzy problem is I just don't know when to transition into that from nightmare or hell.. just using sing in nightmare at the moment
@@blackswordsman5165 putting 1 point in ww would be insane, since it starts out with negative attack speed. Thats why you need a lot lf gear / points for ww to feel like anything remotely good

1k mana is ridiculously low for this build, I have 2,5k with lvl17 meditation and I can still deplete in P5 or more games, 1k would make me cry instead of war cry

I just made this build for fun, and holy hell people get pissed that you made it. 5 out of 7 baal rooms someone had something to say. People forget how to have fun.
I always felt that this is when the meta of a game is kind of silly/lame. Because of things like attack-rating and AOE...the best Barbarian build is him running around screaming. It's great that it's a viable build but it would be better if there was another Barb build that was superior but also more in line with what this character should be.
It shouldn't affect it in any way at all. Since reducing monsters their defense only makes them easier to hit with Melee Attacks (which you are not using) the only use for Battle Cry is to reduce monster-damage (still great though). Also, War Cry has a 100% chance to hit since it is considered magic and not a melee attack.
Can anyone explain to me how he has like more than 60 shared inventory pages? I never played old D2 much and I’m noticing I am limited to 3 shared pages… seems like a massive nerf.
I built this the hard way, from the first level onward. 2/10, would not recommend XD you'll want to switch once you hit nightmare or act 5. Ditto on using taunt, it will save you a lot of headache. Best part of this build is that you're getting free support for Find Item from all the skill buffs and massive mana pool. Normally I struggle until late nightmare to be able to use that skill without popping potions.
Just leveled a barbarian myself this exact way... and found it to be really easy. Having a couple points in Fear helps a lot. You scatter the mobs a bit so you don't get swarmed and your merc will kill everything off. Getting a 3-Ral socketes Flail (the Poison Rune) helps a lot on killing enemies. Also, leveling on 'players 4' until you get into act 5 helps to get War Cry early.
@@Stompy1984 It's not that it was hard, just that I found it kinda dull until I started shouting warcry. I was coming off an aura-din high (they do really well on normal players 1) so it seemed really grindy compared to aura-wiping enemies on the first difficulty.

But I can imagine it feels a lot more like 'work' coming from a character that levels the screen without pressing a button :P Been having a lot of fun on the Shout-Barb... way more then I expected to have! Also found a nice 4-socketed Claymore which I made in a (poorly rolled) Spirit Sword.
I would say it also depends on what class is your friend playing, but I would personally suggest a Double Swing into Frenzy Barbarian with an Act 2 Merc with Blessed Aim to offset the AR problems. Dump everything into a weapon mastery of choice (mace is usually preferred cause many maces have crushing blow) and go ham with dual wielding. Make sure to have 1 point in concentration if you find a good 2-handed weapon with crushing blow (many mauls have tons of it) for bosses. Most endgame Barb builds, including the singer are made specifically for hell.
@@iPasqualo it's all about mindset when playing a barb, just know that you will miss now and then, get used to it and you will be fine :) I am very keen to make a singer out of my current barb cause it's something I have never tried.
Help, Llama considered Sing Barb an A tier build (group/solo) for Ladder since the buffs in 2.4 and Ladder (dmg increase and mana cost reduction), but I'm currently having big issues trying to clear anything in Hell (even Act 1). What am I missing or what should I be doing? I have Dual Spirit + Lore + 105% FCR, with about 880'ish War Cry damage tooltip. I am also getting melted and dying even with 3000 HP.
For large chunks of the game, I let my Insight merc take care of a lot of things. You should never die...just take insanely long to kill things. Often in MP I run around the screen and stun and let everyone else kill. I use a A2 Holy Freeze merc which does nice damage for me. In endgame, I have 7K Health, 2K Mana and maxed resistances.
Sorry, newb here... My warcry is lvl 28 but I can see a lot of players have a huge damage output while using warcry, on the other hand Im stuck between 300-400. Other are easily above 1000 damage. How!?!?!?

Spirit sword much easier to obtain, but Spirit monarch will sure provide a lot survivability

The buffs on yourself stack so I’m going to go out on a limb and say the debuffs stack as well but I’m a newb and I’m just pulling words out of my ass
You can do one of Taunt, Battle Cry, Howl, but still stun with War Cry. PS - these also overwrite Necro curses.

Get an Act 2 mercenary and equip them with an Insight, that should help a bunch

Sadly the damage is so weak when you playing in party compare to other class skills...
the utility the stun provides provides enough benefit to justify in a party imo
