This happened 5 minutes away from my grandmas house in Compton California. It’s so disgusting to live in a state with such strict gun laws and to have people with illegal guns robbing people
Same thing is happening here in my city of Chicago. It’s absolutely disgusting.
Kind of like in Full Metal Jacket, their paying for it you eat it. Unfortunately the liberal trash is destroying your state.
Ironic how that happens huh? Only the criminals have guns cuz guess what they dgaf bout the laws in the first placr.
Puerto Rico is the same. Tough gun laws, but you have criminals running around night and day robbing and killing with automatic weapons. Case in point: gun control only benefits criminals.
@@sammyg4806 That's exactly why the biggest criminals (politicians) push for more gun control.
The problem for this poor guy (besides working in a city where the district attorney refuses to prosecute with gang or gun enhancements and doesn't believe in extended prison sentences even for the most violent crimes) is that he also lives in a state where he can only have a 10 round magazine in that pistol, regardless of the size of the gun.
another problem is this weed shop didn't have security doors so the guard controls who goes in & out.
The owner of the store had it set up in a manner that created a disadvantage for the sec guard, the shelf at the entrance gave the criminals the element of surprise and cover when the shooting started. Never block the main entrance, always make sure you have straight line of sight of the door and who's entering.
Extra clips , 10 rounds n 1 chambered is 11 but your right. I have 15 with 1 chambered so 16 ready.

@@jermaineandrews5913 Didn't look like a weed shop, just a normal smoke shop, selling pipes and tobacco products.
I’ve been in this exact same situation at a local convenience store called Circle K here in Tucson Arizona. It was only a couple days after buying my first handgun after turning 21. I worked overnight and frequently got beer runs and the occasional jump over the counter robbery. Nothing crazy and I did fine with that.
Only once before had I gotten robbed at gunpoint but that was before I got a gun and was almost easy to handle. Low stress. You could feel the energy in the room and the energy radiating off of the kid that was robbing me and could instantly tell that he wasn’t committed to anything and if anything was fearful. On top of that, when he had first showed up he racked the weapon and the at another point, I saw him rack it again. I had noticed nothing ejected from the weapon and instantly knew that either it was empty or it was not a real handgun. So that first one went by smoothly and I wasn’t too scared but the last time I got robbed two guys showed up and they instantly dominated the space. The first guy jumped on top of the counter and started screaming. I saw that he had a handgun so all my attention was focused on him. I saw the other guy behind him but I didn’t see a gun in his hand and my mistake was taking my attention off of him and not considering him an equal threat to the first guy. So I attempted to draw my weapon and as I grabbed it the second guy that ran around the counter pulled a gun from his jacket and started screaming at me and that’s when I put my hands up and said whoa all right. By the grace of God and their own mercy they spared me and took my gun instead. They were talking to each other saying “this nigga tried to pull out on us” and we’re talking shit and that scared me because I thought they were going to decide to. But they told me to open up the register, put the tray of money on the counter, and then open up the second register and do the same thing. It got very sketchy because I didn’t know the code to open up that register so I was telling them that I don’t care about Circle K or the money or anything but I literally can’t open up this register on my life. I don’t have the code. They seemed very upset and agitated about that and that began getting my heart racing even more but luckily they just took a bottle of Hennessy and left.
That was one of the most shameful times in my life because I tried to carry a weapon without experience or training or practice only a couple days after I first acquired it after my 21st birthday and I didn’t pay enough attention to the second guy and make him an equal threat to the first. I almost lost my life that day over my ignorance and I’ll never forget it.
I'm glad you lived to fight another day.
nothing to be ashamed of. people pretending that we have to be perfect at everything and can't go forward in life if everything is not perfect are morons. you did what you had to do, and learned.

@@davemarshall9322 That's when we should use it. In a case like this is 100% clear cut. They committed armed robbery and one of them died so the surviving three face murder charges. Basically if there is video and it's clear enough video than hang the crooks.
Why? The cops won't arrest and the CA Courts won't detain these known killers.

I have NO combat experience, but i do have a lot of common sense. the problem is also the way the store is set up. Store Owners...never set up your counters this way, it allows people to surround your employees from multiple angles and divides your employees attention. Setting up display cases like this forces your employees to work inside the kill zone and criminals to construct kill zones. The poor guy is trapped in a corner behind see thru display cases. The main floor display shelves are blocking direct line of sight to the front door which hides the 4th criminal coming in and immediately drawing his gun. Seeing this fourth guy come in could have bought him the relization time he needed to act first. The damn employee door is outside the display cases...WTH?!?! The guy probably had to buy his own gear/weapon, too. Shame on that shop owner. If the owner knows there’s a need for their employee to be armed and wearing body armor, investing in building their counter area in a way that provides proper cover and an advantage should’ve been done.

"where they can go work at walmart" mate, walmart has been on a hiring freeze for a minute, Most places arent hiring right now because their profits are dropping hard, Society has decayed because a generation of parents got fucked over by baby boomers and are stuck struggling to make ends meet, Then kids grow up seeing that and see the easy money in drugs, or robbery, and choose that because its either die to the police, make some money or get three hots and a cot for several years.
It isnt even the parents that failed the kids, Its the baby boomers that rigged the system in their favor and decided to say fuck you to everyone else, Look at social security. Its supposed to be a retirement fund for seniors leaving the workforce after they pay to it for their entire career. Where did that money go? Into government projects. Dont blame the parents, Open up your blinders and look at the bigger issues out there, A government that cant be trusted, With media lying to our faces at every turn, Idiots rallying for gun control because some jackasses with illegal guns are doing illegal shit, Or people pushed well past their breaking point doing illegal shit.
There is a cause and effect for everything, and when you really get down to the brass tacks of it, the entire system has failed the people. Students get bullied, report it to their teachers and the school turns a blind eye until the kid snaps and strikes back, and now that kid is the villain.
We have a police force that is there to enforce traffic laws and investigate crimes after they happen, not protect the populace, We have global corporations dropping super packs for candidates for government to make sure they get elected and stay in their pocket, We're constantly sending our soldiers to be world police, and all the while our country is falling apart at the seams.
Its so clear that the agenda is against us so much that the government actively agrees with rioters to keep the public eye off of themselves, Diverting attention away from where it needs to be, Hell TH-cam is censoring hard and harrassing people who are in the way of their own agenda of information control.
Are there fucked up parents out there, yep, Could a lot of crime have been avoided if everyone had a loving and caring household? Nope. You get bad eggs no matter what you do, and sometimes life takes a loving family and fucks it with a drunk driver or a medical problem that results in a fatality, and now you have a kid with no parents, thrown into a the foster system, a system so easily abused that you have career fosters who take on 12 kids, tell em to figure it the fuck out and live off of the fat government stipends. Youve got people that sit around and just do drugs all day and get paid by the government because of how easy the system is to game.

I could be wrong, and I probably am but I feel like if he gave them what they wanted, it still wouldn’t turn out well for him. There’s was video, and some guys weren’t masked. To me that means there wasn’t going to be a survivor to testify against someone or ones. He probably had limited training, and I think if he didn’t do what he did, he isn’t alive when it’s over. I agree completely and I’ll say it in a shitty tone all day. The kid doesn’t show situational awareness like he should. Oh well. He then makes up for it in spades and gets hits in on these pieces of shit. Ducking behind the counter for visual cover and whatever deflection value is had was good. What else were his options at that point. Pumping some rounds from a stashed AR into the pile of shit at the front of the store is a nice dream.

Mike, this is nothing new for SO CAL. In 1995 I was working for a 6 billion dollar multi-national company. We had a local office just north of downtown LA, located in a commercial/light industrial area. Our office/shop was surrounded by a ~14 foot chain-link fence topped with razor wire. The employee parking lot was located outside the fence, across a street. When employees, especially females, were arriving at or leaving work they were escorted by at least two guards armed with AR-15's, to protect them from robbery; kidnap; rape or murder. That was 1995!!!!! Things have got nothing but worse. How do you ever fix this mess? Government, especially the California government is unlikely to help!!!

And the fact that 2 of the suspects are already wanted for murder you never know how this would have turned out had the security clerk put his hands up and said, "you don't have to kill me. I will give you whatever you want."
Have to say that having the vest on wasn’t such a bad idea for a group attack. Would have the counter all the way across the back of the store to prevent being in a cross fire. If it was my store I’d have at least a loose brick barrier to get behind. They used distraction and unarmed human shields. Sales guy should have a carbine slung across his chest. Not a pistol in a holster.
Doing visibly armed security work without armor is absolute peak retardation IMO. I was shot at in a drive by when I still did security for no reason other than someone wanted to shoot somebody. All of a sudden my coworkers that made fun of me for wearing armor were suddenly very interested in where I got my vest.
I must disagree with Mike and nearly every other guntube tactical commentator- in a multiple opponent encounter, it is ARMOR that is critical, NOT round volume.
robbers run as soon as you discharge a single round. if you plan to trade 12, 15, 30 rounds against multiples, you will be out of cover into a wall of lead. armor is the first thing you should take if you expect this type of situation.
I hope the poor store clerk sued the owner for putting him in this situation. Loss prevention is a specialized, HIGHLY PAID POSITION (hazard pay). To ask a person to be your sales person and putting a vest on him is the ultimate greed.
They should have hired a guard to stand outside and check everyone's ID's. Also there should be a rule that allows only 2 people inside at a time.

If you think there is no eternal punishment and nobody that will hold you accountable for your behavior then this behavior is to be expected. God help this country that has declared war on everything godly and righteous.
Not true at all. I know plenty of irreligious/nonbelievers who would not do anything like this because they have compassion and empathy for their fellow man. Love for your neighbor and your community beats fear of eternal damnation every day.
I agree. I think logically unless you are one of those people that think we are just biological robots, the fear of having to remember these deeds for eternity and the absolute should cross most people's minds, even if they are not familiar with the teachings of Christianity.
The fuck are you talking about. 65% of the US population are Christians. MORE THAN HALF. Gang members are also overwhelmingly Christain. It doesn't matter if you think they're bad Christians, they're god fearing but still kill.
Jesus Christ is a pretty cool dude, but Christains are very much unlike their Christ.
Always enjoy your analysis. Thanks for what you do!
I took a friend who cannot drive to the smoke shop (I do not smoke. I like owning guns LOL) When we were there I immediately sized the place up and determined that it would be incredibly easy to rob and they deal only in cash because of federal banking laws so there would be lots of it there. I'm surprised more of them do not get hit. This guy did good. He made a fight and survived the fight.
To me it looks like we had four clowns who were literally afraid of the loud gunshots while trying to kill some random person they don’t know for zero gain at all.
I'm curious about the following, round count, if the cashier had a CPL and what they are all shooting at each other. Glad he got to go home, sad that the other 4 aren't dead.
What’s a CPL?
@@theprepperrevelator Concealed Pistol License
Very informative thanks for doing these info videos
6:10 they fucking choreographed using #3 to mask #4's draw.
“What color hookah do I want for the weekend” 😂😂 bro no one has ever said that in all of human kind
I was waiting the entire time for you to explain what the cashier should have done, not a narrative of the action. If was just a narrative and your opinion on youth violence, you should have went full screen on the robbery not split screen.
12:44 Love the pause and camera zoom to emphasize what he's saying
I feel like when you open carry and something like this goes down, you have no choice but to draw and try to fight. Because you're a very very big target if they see that gun on your hip and they're probably going to shoot at you either way.
You don’t own a firearm do you? I hope not 😳
@@DoYouHaveCRPS Several actually, Im just not dumb enough to open carry. They even teach this principle at gun classes. I don't literally mean shoot first ask questions later, but I mean when shit goes down you have to do something.
I gotta say, when I first saw u I had mad respect, but now 😂 dude I love you. You are funniest sincere man I've ever met. Can't wait to see what u post next
I would pay to have a class with the Security Guard against all ambush odds he was lightning-fast and came out on top. That can't be trained or evaluated that was all skill just my opinion and your class too but man that was insane and I live in California. The Security Kid knew his situation and cover points and was in the lords protection that day.
Skill doesn't fall from the sky. It's trained and honed.
@@MegadethTillDeth Like David and Goliath sometimes boys become kings I agree.
Great Analysis!
You ask how these young men can throw their lives away for such petty things. I’ve been saying for years that peer pressure is a nearly unsurmountable force. The music they listen to, the videos they watch and their circle of friends makes it cool to roll like that. They’re not doing it to put food on the table or a roof over their head. They’re doing it to be cool. That’s what has to change and all the gun laws and all the money in the world won’t do it. Examples and mentors from within their neighborhood is the only way it will change.
You think the music they listen to forces them to commit crimes ????
If you see who attends rap concerts (which I'm sure you were referring to) the majority are white attendees !
@@ultramag0343 Of course the music doesn't "force" them to commit the crime, it glamorizes the life style and affects attitude. Thereby tipping the scale towards violence for someone who's both on the fence of commiting it AND feels they have little to lose. Regarding the people attending the concerts; it's the people who can afford it. When I was growing up, we would be cruising around and sure as shit if we couldn't get laid and we threw in an NWA tape, someone was getting hurt, and it wasn't usually us. It's just a life observation. When I was surrounded by negative influences I acted negatively. When I separated myself from those influences I began to act positively. In my case it was the Navy but that's not the answer for everyone.
@@tonyg3414 I don't use Music or video games as an excuse to commit crimes ! Millions of people listen to rap so I don't even know why that was brought up !
@@ultramag0343 You're missing the point. It's a culture. A culture of violence that is accepted by some people and promoted by an industry. The main point of my original statement was that the culture needs to be changed and can only be changed through mentoring and leadership. When a 17 y.o. is mentored by a thug 20 y.o. it's not going to go well. It's a discussion that needs to be had at a higher level than us. Stay safe.
Well put, these situations are so important to learn about, you got a new sub
Mike, CA only allows 10 rd capacity. What do you suggest we do
Fun fact, even if we were use freedom week mags in self defense, we’d probably get prosecuted worse than the criminals that try to fuck with us to begin with.
Form a mulita grow over time then take back your state.
(Hypothetically) find a way to get bigger cap magazines (hypothetically since i would never encourage breaking the law 👀), or buy more 10rd mags and carry 2-3 extras and practice your reloads more than normal and from different positions. I have 13rd mags (legal in my state for now) an i still carry 2 spares. Just my .02
Move, and take your tax dollars with you.
My buddy was security guard at a dispensary in California. He was also fresh out of the marine corps. The dude didn't panic he just went for it so it makes me think he's either ex military or has had decent training.
military service here in USA like done in Israel would help more humans in becoming productive members of society than not?
Agreed, but old school military service like it used to be. I'm not so sure this new 'Emma' generation of service would do anyone any good. It used to be about breaking you down as an individual until you realized you were part of something bigger. Now it seems like we are celebrating individualism and these individuals are shit bags.
I feel for those trapped in California! I can't imagine what it's like. Another great video and analysis, Mike! I really appreciate your channel!
no one is "trapped" in california
You gonna comment on the Buffalo incident?
🤔
Even if he does, he won't call out dwight people. He'll downplay yt people's psychotic, hateful behavior. MG sympathizes with dwight people and he believes "blk-on-blk crime" somehow justifies the yt criminal's dastardly actions. Same for virtually all his subscribers.
@@thickseed
He will avoid it, I'm almost certain of it. All the others in this particular genre of TH-cam have been quiet.
If he does address it, it's because he sees my comment and wants to make a point.
@@thickseed damn that’s crazy how you are a fortune teller, really easy to make up an argument and debate that. Wow so intellectual
@@complexblackness You're correct. If the criminal were blk and all the victims were wyt, MG and all the other undercover ray_cysts would be ALL OVER this. When you go into their spaces you have to take the knowledge you can get and go. You'll only find brotherhood with your own. 💪🏽
And MG, don't bother me with the "I have blk friends" nonsense. You only deal with clueless, politically unsophisticated, self-loathing blk men. I know the game.
Found your channel via your Uvalde videos. Great information
I think part of it is you can’t react too fast or else you may end up getting into trouble yourself
Thank you for the great video.
You mentioned sub-compacts and low capacity magazines: remember Khalifornia is a 10rd magazine state (for now) as well as that stupid roster. We're doing the best we can.
Thank you for this awesome information!
Thanks for your analysis. Good to have a Professional analyze current crime waves. A year ago my neighbor was at a smoke shop and drew on two that were going to rob her as she left. They backed off when she drew on them w/out incident. They approached her at her car. Watch yourself at Smoke Shops they draw a dangerous crowd. I'm in a town w/ pop. 100,000 so it's small.
hahaha the derision in Mike's voice when he says "hooka"
These types of crimes happen every day in inner city USA! Situational awareness is key to survival! An elderly lady walking in to church from the parking lot in the small town I live in in Louisiana had her purse snatched as well as being assaulted, victimized and robbed in a church parking lot! People, be aware that anything can happen anywhere so seek out training from good guys like Mike, train what you learn and stay safe, stay aware and stay alive! Thank you Mike for taking the time to train all of us who would get no training otherwise.
Californian here. You’re spot on.
Biggest thing I try to instill in my daughters is situational awareness, 24&19 I worry so much, they just don't get it.
I’m so sorry, they’ll learn & hopefully soon…world is just a crazy place to have children these days.😞
Love the videos!
This is why I carry a Shield Plus, Optic and match barrel with 15rd Mags. Just as good as a P365 but I don't like the idea of a fully cocked striker on a carry gun so I opted for the Smith.
Great analysis ....
A huge security flaw was the layout of the store. That stand-alone shelf is blocking the cashier/guards ability to get a good look at the people entering.
the hookah shop and skull tanktop 😂
Heber's a great little town, I drove through there often taking vehicle's from the auctions in Bountiful and SLC to Naples near Vernal. My closest friend has a family member that lives there that's been on Park City PD a good while. One of my Criminal Justice professors is actually retiring from PCPD. He was in charge of motors for quite awhile.
I love your channel! Had no idea you were in Heber. I grew up in Provo. Now in Montana. Do they still have granny's shake shack out in Heber?
The kid did good for what was presented to him, he probably didn't have alot of training. Alot of people want to judge in situations like this when they really don't know how they would react.
The thing that disturbs me the most is that the four bad guys seemed to be locked in with no way to leave and therefore continued to shoot, which put the clerk in that much more danger when the bad guys couldn't leave.
I care about race. Because if you see a group of black males walking towards you at night. What do you do... If you see a group of Asian males at night. What do you do.. Is it the same answer ?
Thanks Mike.
It's sickening that stuff like this is even happening. But scarier knowing it's in my state.
Has been this way for decades.
Hot Cut! Bro. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Mike, long time listener...first time caller. This is gonna be hard for me...Go Navy...Beat Army. I love the breakdown. I unfortunately have combat experience both military and CONUS. Your break down and and commentary is spot on! I will one day be at your training. I'm pre war on terror, but in enough shitholes world wide...let alone desert storm...I know you are the real shit. Down to earth and real. Keep up what you do. Future generations should all learn from you. By the saw a video of you doing rifle inspection. I don't think I've ever seen it so sharp. Keep up the fight brother.
Thanks Mike
A lot of people in our community woulddnt have recognized the minmum wage issue, so kudos to you for being realistic
Mike thoroughly enjoying your content 👍
It's an actual miracle this guy didn't get killed (or these guys have never shot a gun in their lives). Missed point blank shots like that is absolutely wild...AND he managed to return fire and land a few hits.
His first indication of trouble is their silence and separation. Kids this age are loud and talkative unless they are up to no good.
wasn't sure what was gonna happen but as soon as I saw the first two take up a flanking position...knew it was on. always move to the vertex and set them in enfilade if possible or narrow the triangle to the targets. that store layout was a kill box.
Mike- ARMOR is far more important than rounds carried when facing multiple assailants. I'm not sure why everyone misses this. If you take torso hits and subsequently die, you did not win the gunfight even if you killed all 4 of them. A tie is a loss in a gunfight. In almost every single "committed attacker" high volume shoots by police it was their armor that was the decisive advantage that kept rounds out of their vitals, not the size of their magazines
