This song is so sad yet so dreamy at the same time. Madotsuki at the end pinching herself at the end is a reminder that she knows it’s all just a dream and all of her friends are something she can’t achieve in the real world.

Man, any time I find anything Yume Nikki related for FNF, it never quite fulfills that vibe that I feel like mods involving Yume Nikki ((or any fangames)) should. But this? This nails it PERFECTLY. From the almost entirety of the song being so serene and tranquil, to the ending bit with Uboa and how going to his little world is a dead end, forcing you to either wake up ((should you not have the Medamaude Effect)) like in the game, to even the Uboa's dialogue and the end of the song???? Genuine 10/10 right here. Anyone that tries making Yume Nikki mods for FNF should take notes from this!

As someone who was quietly hoping for a full Yume Nikki FNF mod, I feel like this song fulfills that want, in a single song- which is amazing! I really don't know how to describe it further, but this captures my experience with Yume Nikki as a whole really well. I absolutely _had_ to come in and say something about the end of the song, where the MC - _I haven't played Yume Nikki, sorry_ - tries to start the tune back up, and there's just... nothing. Nobody answers. It breaks my heart to hear that repeated call and return fall silent. This is the only song in the mod that gives me an actual sense of unease; to have that pleasant demeanor built up over time just cut off so suddenly is genuinely upsetting. i didn’t think anyone could do it but you nailed the ethereal feeling of the game in a song so well!! this isn’t even just a good song, this is such a great yume nikki tribute in general. every segment was perfect and seeing everyone come together only to get stripped away was perfect. that main melody that mado keeps singing to herself is gonna stick with me especially. i was so worried that uboa would be way oversold as “ahhh spooky scary loud/epic segment” since this is a horror mod, but the sudden emptiness of the song screeching to a halt and madotsuki being at a total loss for words after hearing what they asked her was gut wrenching. (on top of her trying to sing in an attempt to escape the dread is oughhhhh my emotions-) the type of fear that uboa elicits is very specific so it’s really nice seeing someone not trying to make it into anything that it isn’t. (i say staring the dream diary v1 jumpscare in the eyes) amazing work everyone who contributed to the level too ofc (seeing the gobou artstyle especially made me so happy) also thanks for reading, yume nikki is very special to me and you did such a good job bringing it to life :)

this is definitely one of the best songs in the mod, at least for me. it is really different than the other songs in the mod in the sense that it doesn't "go as hard". although i havent played yume nikki yet, not only do the visuals of the song capture the escence of it, but the song sounds, well, dreamy and ethereal. i love that it's so fun and enchanting, and the actual creepy part with uboa isn't dragged out and it's just at the last part of the song, really waking you up and reminding you that this world isnt all fun and rainbows. i truly adore this song, and ill make sure to play yume nikki soon!! yea!!!

Pretty much. The game doesn't really have a history but we do know she's dreaming as an escape mechanism for something we can only speculate, as in Yume Nikki she refuses to leave her room and the only way to explore something is by sending her to sleep and explore her dreams.

Never played yume niki (been wanting to do that a lot more after this) but one thing I will say is I like the contrast between the real life and dream drawings of who I can only assume is named yume but I’m probably wrong about that

I've been playing roblox yume nikki fangames recently and this song's convinced me to play the actual yume nikki since it's free lol
I didn't know much about Yume Nikki and I just like this song cuz it's that good but when i learned about the game, I instantly fell in love with the game and made appreciate this inclusion
The same thing goes to Faith : The Unholy Trinity but I already knew it a bit after this mod, And now I am fans of those games

Not saying I dislike the ending of the song, within the context of the mod and the story of the Yume Nikki it's great. Would just be really nice for a relaxing loop to listen to.

Pretty much. The game doesn't really have a history but we do know she's dreaming as an escape mechanism for something we can only speculate, as in Yume Nikki she refuses to leave her room and the only way to explore something is by sending her to sleep and explore her dreams.
