I appreciate you taking time to address the Alaskan Natives/First Nations people in your videos! This is one of the handfuls of times I’ve seen someone reference us in a way that didn’t make us seem like “archaic people from the past”. A lot of people don’t always realize the extensive trail and road systems we’ve used for centuries are the ones they walk and drive on now.
Are the roads totally to yourself or do you occasionally encounter other cars trucks etc? How do you refuel & do you carry any tanks with you? How long is the drive?
Are yukon people always this kind and acknowledging towards their first nation citizen? This and the other girl from the Yukon both pay respect and show appreciation for the indigenous communities
I keep imagining that your father's about to pop out of a thicket even though you've driven this far.
It’s always a risk! 😂
What's the farthest out that he has surprised you?
Kluane lake is massive. Camped there on the way to ANC a couple times. Grew up in Alaska and sure miss those types of trips.
