Can you feel my joy!? Nature is amazing. My heart is full of gratitude. 📍on the Traditional Territory of the Carcross Tagish and Taku River Tlingit First Nations. #outdoors #adventure #fish #fishing #packraft #nature #Gratitude #Nature #NatureIsAmazingAmazing
As much as I enjoy being in a cabin in the woods, there is nothing I hate more on this planet than when you're trying to sleep and you here that "ZZZZZZZZZZZZ" getting closer to your ear.
Fence is still an abomination
So glad we do not have those in Scotland
I'm going extinct
I would never pay more than $40 for that stove. I have had many over the years. Find it on sale and go somewhere local that will price match even online.
A beekeepers suit works well!
Every time I am tempted to complain about mosquitoes, I tell myself "It's way worse up North." Much love from Ontario, and God bless you too!
Take an odorless garlic supplement like Garlique. One a day. Nothing will bite you.
Rub dryer sheets over your person
I did that stuff on the stove and it burnt it:(
My 10 x 12 wall tent can keep u over a Yukon winter
The Coleman is anything but having "good simmer control". There are others out there that allow vastly better flame control.
my body: alr time to start itching in every square inch
HOW does one deal with the heat all covered like that????? ☹️☹️☹️
OMGGGGGG 😢I could not be around any type of bugs 😢
Omg, the swarm on their legs, I could never live like this.
Make your own burners and swap out the propane attachment for a hose version.
How much power would you say goes through a single wire at any given time and can you comepar the output to someghing els?

Got it! Stay home 😂😂
Avoid dark clothing and activities at dusk and dawn if possible. They also hate citronella
Get a griddle to put on the cook top. The griddle dissipates heat & will cook more evenly.
Mosquitoes and noseeums aren’t they something.
Ma'am those aren't mosquitos. Those are vampire hummingbirds. Good lord those are big .
I am amazed that you have frogs in an area that is so cold for so much of the year. How do they survive the winter?
Mosquitos are the main reason I prefer camping in the fall
$170. 👍
I am in the Caribbean, Trinidad to be exact and the mosquitoes can give you dengue fever, so thank you for your advice.
I was just in Roatan & I brought Gold Bond extra strength menthol body powder & lotion! I put powder in my pockets, hood, sneakers, socks! Roatan has malaria & dengue too! It worked, put it around neck in hair too! Lol
Those things cost 80 dollars now. I still have the price tag from when I bought mine brand new and not on sale. $29.89 I guess that was a while ago.
How did the moose get past the electrified fence?
Yea. Hard pass
#1 Never go to Yukon. Got it, Thanks
Thank you Sister for the advice! God Bless and Godspeed! 💓😊
You can buy an adaptor that has a hose to hook it up to a bigger tank that just sits on the floor. But we just used our "new" vintage cast iron camping stove last weekend and it was AMAZING. Old stuff is just built better
I get that mobility is a big factor. But if you are able to, a carbon steel plancha / comal or pizza steel put over the top of the burners may more evenly distribute the heat to a pan with minimal lossage
Anecdotes aren't particularly meaningful here. The purpose of high tight shoes is to support the ankles and prevent injury - they aren't going to be as comfortable as the same shoe but lower and looser. But they are more comfortable than a cast. And while you might not have ever had an injury, that doesn't mean you can't or that others won't. If you've never been in a car accident, do you not wear a seat belt? Also, you sound like you might be an experienced hiker, but what about people watching that maybe want to get into it? Want to get in shape and lose weight by trying hiking? They are more likely than you to get injured due to inexperience, so telling them "nah, you don't need this safety thing" is dangerous. You sure as hell don't need anything expensive, but you really should have something that supports your ankles better than running shoes.
I can get even more controversial…. I like Scarpa Mojito’s…… get the GTX ones and your feet stay dry The main thing I like is the fact they are slightly thinner soled so I can feel the terrain, and get my feet muscles working to manoeuvre rather than relying on the grip of the soles.
Nope, not for two and a half times the cost.
Is the bottle not supposed to be supported by the table that you've set the stove on?
Love it! What do you tow it with?
I’ve had my Coleman for 25 years and it’s never let me down
Nobody talks about Permethrin. It's for your clothes, kinda like waterproofing sprays. Pretty sure militaries use it.
Bug repellents containing Deet are toxic to pets for anyone who has doggies or kitties
