It was day light when Nancy locked Frankie in the car boot .. it was dark outside when Liam robbed the car .. Nancy left Frankie a deaf person without a care in the world.
I think it’s time Mick opens up about his suicide attempt on NYE. Nancy needs to be aware of how Mick truly felt during his abuse storyline. That way, she would begin to understand more about why Mick has fought to form a bond with his other daughter, as Mick said “sometimes something beautiful can come from something he’d rather forget”. Nancy needs to understand how far Mick was willing to go to silence the suffering before he got his fight back and went to confront Katy and tell Linda. I think that conversation would seriously help Nancy establish the beginning of her redemption arc and also restore the closeness between her and Mick. They had the best bond out of all of the Carters, but they’re too alike in many ways where they clash over it. Nancy is capable of being mature (hence why she’s my favourite female character) but she carries a lot of the immaturity over her sibling rivalry. Which as much as I’m not gonna justify it, every character has their downfall traits on the Square.
@@startracker5895 oh no I get what you mean. I think she needs a harsh dose of the truth as to why her actions were unjustified. Hopefully they patch things through as the next episode seems like it’s gonna have a few scenes between Nancy and Mick.
What Nancy did was horrible but Mick needs to seriously take some amount of blame here. Nancy has been on the bottom of his priorities for years- Lee and her had a fight, Ollie got injured and Mick solely blamed her and treated her like muck for months, he's made her feel worthless and unable to deal with anything due to her epilepsy and then when Zach and Frankie crashed in to her and left her, he lied to her face and protected frankie. I get why Nancy was jealous.
Yeah but between them, Frankie needs Mick more. Frankie had her whole life ripped apart and found she's the child of rape and pedophilia. Mick making sure she knows she is loved and isn't judged by her mother's actions is crucial, whereas Nancy already knows she'll always be loved by her parents. Nancy also forgave Mick and Zack pretty quick over the crash but maintained the blame on Frankie, despite all of them telling her that Frankie was the one who wanted to confess. Never mind the fact that as a learner, Frankie was not responsible for the car, Zack was, so it was his fault anyway.
Mick is the actual problem here. Nancy's hit and run was handled badly. Mick only decides the truth is necessary when Zach might get his hooks in. Which wasn't the right reason for telling Nancy the truth especially after so much time passed. Linda is still kept in the dark about her daughter's hit and run. Therefore, she can't be a comfort to Nancy regarding her feelings about Frankie's actions. Mick seems to continually disregard Nancy's feelings while also downplaying her mistreatment of Frankie. Now, things have gotten really serious. They're adults but once he got embroiled in hiding the truth, he has to now help mitigate the fallout between his daughters. Frankie must have been absolutely terrified.
Ikr she's acting like a 12 year old she's 26 and she knows Frankie has suffered with her Mum turning out to be an abuser and the car accident was a genuine accident
I've had some blinding fights with my siblings but never thought to do anything so cruel. A quick punch, slap, shout something, refuse to talk to them, hide their stuff - sure, but not trap them and leave them trapped. It's psychotic.
I don't know if anyone else heard it, but what made me question Nancy in my head was when she said that she'd went out to let Frankie out of the boot. Did she not realise when the car wasn't there that is was most likely stolen? Because how would Frankie have got out of the boot on her tod? Dopey mare...
I think Mick should of done better diffusing the situation between Frankie and Nancy.I think Mick has such a close bond with Frankie because of what happened to him. He sees Frankie as something positive that came out of his abuse.
This comment section really pisses me off, people are bad mouthing Nancy but she's only human, imagine your sister runs you over and your dad takes their side, ever since frankie turned up, mick has always taken her side instead of Nancy.
If Nancy were a teenager, this would be a different story. But she’s a GROWN WOMAN. Locking your deaf sister in the boot of a car for hours because your dad took their side is some 13 year old shit, and any adult that does that deserves to be bad mouthed.
I mean Nancy really does need to grow up but I think the way Mick treats Nancy with her epilepsy is disgusting. Both Frankie and Lee she had to go through it with and, as an epileptic, I’d feel absolutely devastated…
Nancy only did it cause Frankie run Nancy over and kept the screct to her self zack should have told Nancy straight away otherwise Nancy and frankie wouldn’t be fighting right now cuz they stll not getting on I understand why Nancy coming from if someone didn’t tell me who run me over I wouldn’t forgive that person if they didn’t tell me
Maybe Frankie should go to the police about it. Locking someone in a boot would obviously be a criminal offence. But this is soap and no one seems to grass on anyone! 🙄
@@bookl0ver That doesn’t make sense lol they don’t grass on themselves apart from the one time Ben did to Phil as revenge…. Frankie can’t grass up Nancy because she almost killed her and Nancy chose not to take any action… All Nancy did was push her in the boot

She locked her sister who is deaf inside of the boot of a car! I understand that she didn't mean for someone to drive away with her in the boot, but it still happened, and it could of killed her.
For people who defend Nancy, I think you guys need to seek help. What Frankie did was an accident, Nancy did that on purpose. Both acts were deadly but only one had malicious intent. With Mick being unfair with Nancy, I see your guys point and kinda agree, but we also need to remember that mick only found out about Frankie last year and is trying to make up for 30+ years he wasn’t with her. Not saying its fair or right but I can understand it. But he does need to make both daughter’s priority. I don’t think Nancy hates Frankie for the accident because she was so quick to forgive Zack but not her sister, I think she hates her because Frankie has Daddy’s attention and with that Nancy needs to grow the fuck up, she’s a 28 year old woman who has had her dad there for her all her life. Yes mick should give her more attention but she shouldn’t be this desperate for it. And no, Frankie being deaf and Nancy having epilepsy shouldn’t make a difference, I said what I said.
That’s what I’ve been saying and Nancy just laughed & left Frankie (a deaf girl) in the boot for hours and when she noticed the car was missing she did nothing didn’t panic or get Mick or nothing!! Frankie at least showed remorse and wanted to help her out only to be stopped by Zack. Nancy did sod all until it was far too late. She owes Frankie a cuddle and kiss when she comes back.

Uhmmm no, that’s not okay period regardless. Frankie isn’t acting like the number 1 daughter, the girl is 30+ years old trying to make up lost time with her dad she only met a year ago. Now *Mick* has to make both daughters priority not just one. I get that Mick is trying his best but it’s natural to spend more time with the daughter you didn’t raise so you can get to know them better. It’s not right but it’s understandable. Now with the car accident, mick should of encourage Frankie to tell Nancy the truth instead of hid it from her, but I know now it’s not because of the accident why Nancy hates Frankie, it’s because of who has daddy’s attention.
