Was the game successful enough for a sequel.
From what I've seen, it seems the game did not sell well and received fairly low reviews.

This looks like DQ heroes but far more refined
In gameplay, that's a fair comparison, though it could have used a little bit more variety. But the narrative delivery was by far the weakest aspect of this game.
I do admit narrative wise I can't help but feel a little bit of fun in DQ heroes 2, I mean sure it's pretty generic of a plot but I still enjoyed myself there but considering how Jarring Scarlet Nexus felt with how it handled cutscenes doing the same thing you mentioned with this game I prob would be a little annoyed with that here. @@pungentfunk
@@RaidenKaiser, I didn't mind Heroes either. But if you play Infinity Strash and are interested in the story, just skip all of the non-animated cut scenes and watch the 2020 anime (or read the manga).
