Trump has been campaigning for 4 years. Harris has only been the nominee for 70 days. Think about that. And given that, it seem monumental to be even with Trump in the polls at this point. Whether this was a republican, I would give them credit for doing this much in two months.

She did goof it up. She really should just of said she respects Joe Bidens decisions as the current leader and hope he can do more, but that if she wins the election it will be a Kamila Harris presidency and she will run things as she sees fit.

I find it hard to believe that there was consensus at the DNC to run Harris. I have no doubt they pressured Biden to drop out - but the smart people at the DNC who know how to engineer a campaign could not have possibly thought this was a good idea. They should have had Biden declare his status a year ago and run a primary and found the right person. She has less than 30 days to overcome all her mistakes and it doesn’t look good at all. All the enthusiasm for her at the convention has burned off and she peaked too early.

It's almost like they should have held an actual primary and let people choose a candidate. If you get them to vote for you once in the primary, you have more of a chance to get them to do it on election day.

@chrlpolk lol I think it is hilarious. I think the democrats deserve this. Kamala was never a popular choice and would have never gotten even 5% of the primary votes. Delegates basically were given one choice. They all chose to stick with the train wreck that is Biden because they thought they didn't have to try. This should be a lesson for all politicians that they should try harder.
