    I have come across this as meaning heavy weight (a burden or something that weighs heavy on your mind or shoulders ) especially near anchor thanks for his course and all the hard work you put into it.

    James! Thanks so much for taking the time to create this awesome series!!
    ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
    P.S. Not to be greedy, but I second the other viewers in hoping you do a lenormand card combination and spread series!!

      Glad you were able to catch the final installment, Carla! Thanks for the inspiration, and for sticking with me all the way through it!
      And thanks for letting me know what you'd like to see in the future. What I have planned in the (somewhat) near future is something involving a 3x3 (or 9-card square) reading, and how I approach that. That was something I was asked to consider during this series. ;-)

      I'm so glad you found some keywords to add to your own list of meanings. And I'm happy to hear that you like my "Celtic Cross" keyword for Cross! It was such fun to see how that unfolded in the reading I did at the time. It was a lovely reminder of just how literal Lenormand can be. ;-)

    First and foremost I would like to thank you for this series. It has helped me tremendously on my journey of learning lenormand. I can only imagine the time and energy it took to put the series up...it's appreciated. My question is this: I started with the Guilded Reverie by Ciro Marchetti. TBH I'm in love with them and really don't want any other deck 😁. This particular deck does have the extra bird, woman, and man cards. In addition to those cards, it includes time, bridge, dice, mask, compass, labyrinth, and the magnifying glass. Now, I'm a beginner lol and get hung up on some of the meanings to those cards. So, have you used this deck and if so I would be ever so grateful for your meanings/interpretation of these cards. Thanks again for helping us newbies out. Sending positive vibes and abundance your way. BTW: I send anyone wanting to learn lenormand to your channel 👍🙌

      Thank you so very much for watching the series, Lisa. I'm delighted hearing it has helped you in your learning Lenormand. That means the world to me. :-)
      I love hearing that you love the Gilded Reverie Lenormand. I think it's so important to have a deck you love, because you'll want to work with it. And I love that you've found "the one" for you.
      I do happen to have a copy of the deck, but mine isn't the Expanded Edition you have; it's the first edition that doesn't have the extra cards. One of the things that I like about the edition you have is that you can now have the Man and Woman cards facing each other (in my version they look the same way).
      As for the extra cards you've mentioned, here are some thoughts that come to me in the moment, right off the top of my head:
      Time = timing, a matter of time
      Bridge = transition, "bridging the gap", reconciliation, connection
      Dice = gamble, "roll of the dice"
      Mask = pretense, disguise, playing a role/part, an actor/actress
      Compass = navigation, direction, where you are in relation to where you want to be (and how to best get there)
      Labyrinth = spirituality, meditation (my church has a labyrinth), maze, going around in circles
      Magnifying glass = investigation (think Sherlock Holmes), taking a closer look, magnification
      I hope those can help you in some way, Lisa. Thanks again for watching the series, and for sharing it with others who might find it interesting. I appreciate your support. :-)

    I have been reading Tarot for 20+ years. Just purchased a Leonormand deck and your explanations are so clear and helpful. It will be a pleasure to start to feel I am mastering this deck, whereas with Tarot I have never approached mastery. Thanks so much for your supportive videos!

    Hello James! I felt the Energy of a High School Prefect in your Introduction! Standing on the Podium and announcing: This is It!! Well Done!! I'm revisiting the Lenormand Meaning Section as I often do after a Grand Tableau;). Here you speak of Celtic Cross Lenormand. I'm Curious: How did you look at the Postion 1, where one Card is crossing the Significator? Since Sequence is important in Lenormand Reading, which one became the Subject? Could you share the link of this particular video? I tried once and didn't pursue. Love from India, Ganga

      Thanks for re-watching the video, Ganga; you made me smile with that comment about the high school prefect! ;-)
      As for your question, I didn't make a video on my working a Celtic Cross using Lenormand; it was a piece I wrote for my blog, and you'll find it here: lifeofhimm.wordpress.com/2016/05/11/a-celtic-cross-reading-with-the-lenormand/

    Great series! I watched this whole series in a day and will watch again. Really appreciate these deeper understandings of the Lenormand cards which to me have been very stubborn and hard to crack as someone who has been studying tarot. Can you do a segment on what to do when, in a grand tableau, the significator shows up at a hard to read place, such as in the top or bottom row or in the last column? Thank you for your teachings!

    • @JamesHimmCoach33
      @JamesHimmCoach33  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks so much for watching the series, J, especially that you binge-watched it! :-)
      You're literally the second person within the span of a couple days to ask me about the significator showing up in a tricky spot in the GT, so it looks like there's a video coming in the near future... ;-)

    Thank you very much for sharing this series with us. I was meditating on the Sun in GW and I was not finding any words but I got fixated on counting all the Sun ray lines and adding them with the card number and playing card number and out of the two ways I can work out to add them up it always equals 4. One way ends up with 1+3 which is the card and playing card numbers! Yep.. fixated lol. Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind, it's gonna be a bright bright sun shiney day.

      Thanks so much for watching the series, Natasha. And that's an interesting experience you had creating meaning for the GW Sun card (which you could carry over to the Lenormand Sun). That's one of the things I like about delving into GW; I feel like I have more creative license to come up with meanings for the cards. Happy to hear the clouds have parted, and you're seeing clearly... ☀️

    When you interpret the ‘inner card playing card inset’ do this mean the same as the cartomancy that you cover in cartomancy playing cards?

    • @JamesHimmCoach33
      @JamesHimmCoach33  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question, Wendy. Typically, I just take into account whether the card is a "face" card, and consider the possibility it can represent a person. As for the other spot/pip (playing) cards, I rarely incorporate them; when I do though, I use the meanings I've been sharing in my cartomancy series, rather than perhaps more traditional French meanings.

  • @7spiritualcompass706
    @7spiritualcompass706 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    How many "Yes" cards are there in the deck? Curious.

    • @JamesHimmCoach33
      @JamesHimmCoach33  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For me, there are two: Sun and Key; Sun because of its illuminating quality, and Key because it can mean "certainty."
      I'm not sure if there's a definitive number though, as other readers may have other cards they see as "yes" cards.
