    I can’t blame Simon at the end. I would want to stay as well. I cracked up when you pushed Esme in the water. Nice little trip it looks like. It’s going to rain here all weekend and I have been traveling so much lately I think I’m just gonna set up the tent in the backyard for a couple of weeks. Nothing like some good old backyard camping. Cheers MICHAEL.

    Hello, Luv! Took the cot/tent set-up on my 6 day trip up at Vallecito Lake in Colorado last week. It was brutally hot! I’m envying you the moisture. We are really struggling with drought here so no camp fires of any kind. It was a great trip, got on the water with my two dogs in my kayak for the first time. The dogs also enjoyed sleeping in the tent. I used a 12 volt electric blanket with my Jakery 500 Watt power pack at 10,500 feet at Molas Lake where it did get chilling at night after a very brief rain making everything a bit damp. It was the BOMB!. Lovely. Good seeing you again. Blessings.

    Giving you a like for giving me an idea. I'm getting a bit old for sleeping on the ground, so I'm going to see if my one person backpacking tent can be made to fit securely on a camp cot. That would get me off the ground and make ingress and egress to the tent a bit easier.

    Hello Michael, Esme and Simon! There is a saying that goes, " Being in nature gets you closer to God ". Well....not only was God close, he was the one filming !!
    Beautiful video , that camera technology is at another level. very much appreciated.
    Simon acted just like my dog when he got anxious to get in the CanAm. After our beloved Pogo the teckel passed away from cancer, my wife ( and me too) found the house to be kind of... "sadly silent" and started to look for another fury companion. We wanted to "save" and not buy. So we came across a 2year old mixed boxer style dog that was in an animal shelter. His body was covered by dog bites but his attitude seemed ok. We soon found out that he was more traumatized than we thought. With a lot of love, patience and tenderness he is slowly gaining confidence...that is until I try to get him on the atv !! HaHa. Nice to see you and your beautiful companions back camping. Take care Michael.

    • @TheEmporiumOutdoors
      @TheEmporiumOutdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Stéphane!! The new camera is defiantly interesting!!! LOL - I'm so glad you rescued a new dog - that's one of the kindest things you can do, is share your home and family with a dog in need 🙏 It does take time for them to adjust and some mental scars are too deep to heal fully for some dogs but with love and patience - they make amazing companions and friends 😊

      @TheEmporiumOutdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks my friend! The Defender, camp cot setup is probably one of my favorites. The defender allows you to cover long distances in comfort, and the TETON Vista 1 is a quick and comfortable nights sleep. The dogs are the extra special something on top 😊

      I tend to use the Klymit Deluxe air pad as it’s less bulky to carry on my UTV. I do like the simplicity of the foam TETON mat however. If you combined the two you would have LOTS of padding 😀
