I've been using GoPro Labs for only a short while, thanks to one of your previous videos. Yes, you can plug your GoPro into your computer via a USB cable to access the cars, but I find this method is sometimes hit or miss or has a delay especially if there are a lot of files on the microSD card. So I typically use an adapter for consistency and reliability. Thanks!
At 08:30 does this feature unlock some sort of hidden GPS feature in GoPro 12? It's titled GPS enabled Camera Speed Triggers. Just wondering since I have a GP11.
Hi, it's me again. Quick question. Is it possible to put permanent qr codes at the same time? I mean, like the iso display, at the same time, you'll have a fast boot feature, etc.?
Yes it is. You can apply as many QR codes as you want to, technically. Of course some settings could conflict with other settings but as long as they are non-conflicting QR codes they should work.
@@GreatDayForAHike oh i see. if i put those qr extras on permanent and if i scan the QR presets that i made like the bitrate, iso min/max, shutter speed, etc does it affect or rewrite the permanent settings that i have put on? QR codes will not overwrite other QR codes already scanned unless you do a different variation of the same code you’ve already scanned. Example: You originally did BITR = 200 but then you decide to change that to BITR = 150. When you scan it, this will update the BITR setting to 150.

Thank you very much for all the know how you shared in this video! Really useful, especially the EXPT Setting as I use my GoPro mainly for mountainbiking in the woods. I've tried it last weekend, but got overexposed footage when I got out of the forest. I understood the EXPT Setting as "do not go to a lower shutterspeed than 45 degrees of your current FPS" which would be 1/192 for me, but faster shutterspeeds should still be allowed. Am I wrong with this? I'll do a test tomorrow without biking and the activated ISO/SS display.
What about a bunch of qr codes If i went to select noise reduction + bitrate + wide gamut + log400 A diffrent qr code in the same time how they can all to gether be scanned in one scan ??.?
Yes, you can do this. If you create several in the app but then wait to scan the QR code until you’ve input all of the codes you want you should then be able to scan them all at once via a single QR code.
my favorite settings: NR01=1-25 , EXPX=100 (for Pal, 120for ntsc) (the lowest shutter speed with good working EIS, and no flickering). Pretty good is also WIDE (more control red color in grading for me) 😁
I have been testen this out a lot, and i noticed that when your color profile is on Natural it has quite some grain/noise but on Flat it looks way better.

Thank you for this! I’m a VERY new GoPro user. I’m using it to livestream my kids baseball games through an app called GameChanger so family who live far away can stream in. Can one of these QR codes silence the onboard mics so there’s no sound streaming in to those watching?
You’re welcome! Unfortunately, I don’t believe there is a QR code that makes this possible. There is code DAUD that disable audio in video captures but I believe this only applies to recording and not live-streaming. One potential work around for this would be to plug in a mic adapter to the GoPro but not connect any mic to it. I believe this would accomplish the end goal.
