I felt so good watching people like you doing good to helpless people. You will have blessings from thousands of grateful fathers, grandmothers and sons.
I hope your father gets better, not long ago I had cancer too, so I know how it gets. A lot of complications happened with me during the time I was sick, but I got lucky and responded well to treatment. I've been well for a bit over a year. It's rough, even on the other side. I know we're just strangers on the internet talking to each other, but I REALLY hope things get better. I wish you and your family the best and more.

And a lot of the times they have Parkinson’s or something. I watched a exposed video on another channel where one guy one crying and another woman admitted she had about a year to live. Just continued on with the scam.
Seriously, cause if I fell for this and thought it was real, there is no way I would continue a phone call with customer service yelling and cursing at me, lol.
Amazing how arrogant and aggressive they are when they think they are bullying an old man around but when the curtain is pulled back they become the scared little scumbags they really are. Excellent work.

"If you're going to Target can you get me four $500 gift cards?" The audacity that these scammers yell, cuss, and berate you while firing off commands is outrageous! For me, the lack of professionalism is what gives them away.
The Indian accent is also a dead give away plus the phone number. They say they are in Washington or somewhere and my caller ID days the call is GA area code and my neighborhood. They neighbor spoof. Plus in background you can hear the other scammers. If I have the time I play with their minds, make them wait while I find my glasses, deliberately act like confused older person, once I pretended I was four and told the guy all the things I wanted for Christmas. I do whatever I can do to waste their time, really annoy them thus keeping them from calling someone else.
I just wanted to mention the reason scammers tend to yell, cuss, and berate a victim is to make them shut down and do what they say. Sort of like “they’ll go away if I just pay them” kind of thing and it works very well, unfortunately. It’s also proven that they will blatantly not cover mistakes (ie: calling from a different country, typos in their scams, sending messages with typos, etc) as vulnerable people to the scam will still respond and will be easy to harass into getting money or gift cards. I learned a lot of this from Jim Browning honestly lol, I recommend his channel to anyone who enjoys scam busting type content
Someone called me and said my grandson was in jail. (My grandson is 7). A person came on the phone saying Grandma, but I could hardly hear him. I could make out arrested, Mexico. I knew my grandson was home with his dad, but they were so convincing I had grandpa call my son while I was on the phone. He told us to hang up the phone and try to block the call. In my head I knew they were lying, but my fear took over for a little bit. Now I watch this channel and I feel a lot smarter about it. Thank you my dear, you are helping so many of us older people.
Some scammers called my mom saying I had an accident driving trying to get some personal data from the insurance and stuff, when my mom told me I quickly picked up the phone and yelled: I HAD AN ACCIDENT? OH MY GOD AM I OK? and blocked the number. It was hilarious but there's people falling into these scams every day.
My grandparents got a similar call a few years ago that I was arrested in Colombia. I wasn't home, I was on vacation so I dunno if they knew that somehow, but I was NOT in Colombia lol. Either way... glad they called my parents to check. Even mentioned I was with an actual friend of mines name so probably found my Facebook whether they had access or not, but haha to them I hadn't used my fb in years and don't talk to most of those ppl.
I'm a white-collar/fraud detective and I investigate these all day long...Scammer Payback is right on the money (no pun intended)!!!! So fricken detailed. All my victim's tell me the same thing. I spoke to a scammer once and pretended to be the victim. The scammer went through all the steps about drivining to the bank, wrapping money in a book, gift cards, etc. AWESOME JOB. sounds like fun. Keep it up....
I like how he said “ yes you can get a glass of wine but, you will have to get in your car in a few minutes” Like he really cares if you drink and drive 😂
I can't believe how much the editing helped the story telling of this episode, watching the show live vs the TH-cam videos are two complete different experiences lol.

Pierogi has literally turned exposing scammers into an art form. I have never laughed so hard in my life! What an incredible contribution to justice, & to innocent victims. Thanks Pierogi!
From last year, he had severely upped his game. I've had a couple of scammers contact me via Facebook. I chat with them because i was waiting for them to ask for money. I was really cyrious how they"d ask. And I wanted to have fun. But they got so boring i finally blocked them.

Sheethal Thomas I hope that you don't mind me asking, but what is your government doing in bringing down these scammers? I'm sorry, but they're parasites. The reason why I call them parasites, because they suck their victims dry.

I LOVE seeing these thieves get a taste of their own medicine! But most importantly, seeing them exposed and/or arrested. They spend their daily lives preying on innocent people, and most have no problem taking a person's bank accounts down to the last dime. They have NO moral compass, and the greed is systemic. Thanks to people like you, some of this activity gets stopped, but there needs to be more aggressive security protection provided within the Internet and banking systems. Thank you for standing up for those who work to earn their money honestly from predators like these creeps.
Hey man, just found this channel last night, somehow. I am completely blind and I am entertained by your videos. I know I can't see all the stuff happening on the screen, but when you step in and explain what it is you're doing that helps put more into perspective. This hits close to home for me since my family had been scammed before. To scam a disabled family of visually impaired people , to me, makes it worse and I support what you're doing. Thanks for the PSA, Warning, Entertainment, and overall, for putting a stop to them whenever you can.
Hi Gerad, if you haven't already, watch Jim Browning's videos too. He is very articulate and highly skilled as well. Fortunately most of the content is audio.

Thank you for all that you do. I fell for a Microsoft scam a long time ago. I feel better able to identify these creeps due to you. My aunt (she was in her 80s at the time) almost fell for the scam about 10 years ago where they call and pretend to be a grandson. She told the scammer he didn’t sound like her grandson, but he told my aunt he “had a bad cold”. The scammer told her he was involved in an accident and was in jail. Of course, he needed 5k for bail. The scam spanned several calls over 3 days. My aunt went to her bank and withdrew 5k. It was by far the most she had ever withdrawn from that branch. The teller questioned her and my aunt, who was told not to say anything but loved to talk, spilled the beans. The teller told her she believed it was a scam and encouraged my aunt to try to call her grandson directly (on his cellphone and at work). She did and her grandson answered and of course told her he wasn’t in jail and it was a scam. Crisis everted and 5k saved from scammers. I still thank that teller all these years later.
my father fell for this scam and sent $2000. He never tried to call my son directly, and only called me after the fact. dad became angry at me for not being grateful.
They tried the same scam on my grandmother. They told her I was arrested in Mexico with my friends and needed bail money. Thankfully she called my mother who told her that I don't have friends so it must be a scam, lol
my grandma got the same scam call. luckily, she knows better than to fall for that and is easily able to distinguish any one of her grandson's voices. she told them they should be ashamed of themselves for trying to scam elderly people like that and hung up.
In India every day we get such calls but we know, neither any bank nor any electronic goods & services companies call, one has to go physically to get resolution..
Hey guys FYI…my father passed away, and within 48 hours scammers were calling demanding IRS back payments from the estate. We also found more than a few people on line claiming to be him. If someone dies, make sure you report it to Social Security ASAP so they can shut down the SS Number. Once we did that, it stopped.
Sorry for your loss. In the UK we have "one call, tell all." If you use this service when registering a death all the relevant bodies will be informed such as DWP and NHS etc..

You guys do such important work and are a blessing. There are so many scams out there. Keep it up, I wish there was some way to be involved, you guys are awesome. I was once told they were outside my house to take my child if I didn't wire them 60k. I was away and had just gotten a settlement for that amount. They said they were the IRS and I at first fell for it. The trauma was awful. Keep up the good work. You are awesome

I tell everyone about these vids too! I recently crossed paths with an elderly man looking for help, I asked him a few questions and guessed a couple of answers. I knew it was a Microsoft scam/imposter he was dealing with. By the time I was done several bystanders were listening and hopefully a few more people will come to your site that I recommended. As you said, after spreading the word and bringing awareness we can all help stop the scumbags from taking advantage of people.
It’s very shameful how they speak to who they think are elderly people. It’s very disgusting and disgraceful how abusive they are in a country where shame is a big deal. They are always supposed to respect their elders. Also “I’m going to eat a piece of a paper for punishment” took me out! 🤣🤣🤣💀
The present generation has forgotten their values. Especially the youth in Delhi and other northern states think that they are invincible and don't need to respect anybody.
I just want to tell you I appreciate everything your doing ! I was scammed with the IRS scam for more than 7,000 ,during the start of the colvid and we still are feeling the pain from it ,I work real hard for my moneyan it was all I had saved ,I have done nothing but been talked down because I was scammed and you make me feel real better about it and I couldn't hug you enough and makes me feel like to cry watching you do this to them, thank you so much from our hearts God bless you brother and please never stop🙏

I'm glad my 80+ yr old parents are very, very suspicious of anyone who calls unsolicited & flat out refuses to give one dime to anyone over the phone no matter the cause, even if the caller insists one of us dozens of kids/grandkids has had an emergency. They can't convince my parents of ANYTHING, for better or worse.
I was almost had. I’m a 38 yr old wife/mom and they almost got me a few years ago. I love being wildly unpleasant to scammers. Usually they don't let me keep calling them back sadly, and I'm not technical enough to wreak the kind of havoc you do, but I appreciate it all

@@mikelouis2118 this is very false and a disservice to a lot of people. Many many people answer the phone even with unknown callers. Not everyone has call display either.
I get calls like this everyday, many times a day. The more the phone gets answered, the more calls I get. Sometimes I try to keep them on the phone as long as possible just to waste their time, which possibly keeps them from scamming another one or two people (I hope!). I will pretend to be an elderly person who is hard of hearing, and then make them repeat everything a few times. Occasionally they will ask me if I am pretending (just as this guy did to Pierogi). Last week, when I answered the phone, I asked him repeatedly if he knew what state I was in, and if there was anything he wanted/needed to tell me first before he started telling me the reason for his call (in CA, anyone MUST first tell all callers that the call is being recorded). All of a sudden, he got frustrated and started cursing at me and calling me names I wouldn't even repeat to anyone! It makes me so angry that they curse at "an old lady" who they are trying to steal from, and then hang up the phone! And when I called the phone number they called me from, it was, of course, a spoofed number. But I called the actual person whose number it was, and let them know that their number was being used by scammers abroad. Not that they can do much about it. But it makes me so angry! And then for them to curse at me and hang up on me makes me even angrier! There must be a way to shop these people! The government should take it more seriously and try harder to stop them!
Lol loved it when he insisted his name was something else and someone nearby laughed because it's like, the name of someone they mutually dislike or some other in-joke. All these scammers operate on such a low level like, they're dumb and they assume everyone else is dumber.

I left the gift card for scammers signs that’s a nice touch. It’s sad and sickening that these guys scam people. Truly grateful for people like you
Honestly, watching you snatch scammers is more entertaining than any sport, and I actively enjoy your work.
The elderly can be harmfully naive. I’m 75, retired, and trying to get my modern day tech skills together. However, many seniors my age and older may have declined physically and mentally to the point that they can be ripe for the picking by scammers. Much success to you for the sake of humanity.
It’s like watching someone with a superpower. Sterling work, Sir. Just brilliant.
The bat signal is in the sky. Here comes Scammer Payback to save the day. Modern day super hero! Get 'em bro!

One of my best friends is around 85 and I told her about all this
God I love what you do but it is so rewarding but so sad at the same time. I know as I am watching how many people are falling for this pitiful scam. Seriously good for you man
