This was a great show....needs to be brought back WITHOUT any changes. Liz in the gauntlet there reminded me of Jerome Bettis when he trucked Brian Uhrlacher on his way to the end zone. I guess Liz can be The Bus #2.
The country that enjoyed this show is gone. This kind of general athleticism now shames the average fat, lazy screen junkie. As such there's no broad appeal anymore.

@@tednitta1785 Fair enough (especially with Blaze who tackled high), but with events like Human Cannonball, Gauntlet, and Breakthrough, the gladiators are at total disadvantage having oncoming contenders at high speed going straight at them. And what did the gladiators do to protect themselves, they went high.
Idea, bring back the show but make sure to get applicant's that fight for trans rights in female sports and have them face trans gladiator's. Interview them after the show and ask them if they hold the same beliefs.

I saw Gladiators UK making a return. They did a promo recently with their new Gladiators. Ex Olympians and Bodybuilders
The only change they could make these days would be to add helmet cams with modern tech. Would be cool to see the Gauntlet from their POV!
That’s a rough draw for the women gladiators. Both of those female contestants were bulldozers coming at them.
